Can't trade Costume Box?

Can someone help me out? I bought a Panda Costume Bundle for a friend from CS, but I can't seem to trade the Costume Box.

    I wonder if it's the case where the box can't be traded but the contents can be for some reason? I would look on the trade broker to check and see if the actual costume (for the receiver's race/gender) is listed. Not to buy on the broker, just to see if it's there which means that the underlying item is tradeable. But of course, if this is the case, you'd have to first open the box on the same race/gender.

    Perhaps this is also something EME can change/fix, as in principle they should all be tradeable.

    well i'm an elf, and my friend is human. Probably not a good idea.

    Best thing to do is just make a quick lvl 1 char to what race and gender your friend is playing as, then use that char to open it.

    These were one of the boxes they didn't change. Before there were more boxes that couldn't be traded even though the contents in them could be traded. The fact any are like that in the first place makes no sense though.
