why isn't tera eu or tera jp restricted like we are? why cant we have the same things they have. if they have so much freedom within their games why cant we? is it because the people at eme don't have the knowledge to program or whatever it is?
Can you give an example? If you mean the anniversary, for instance, they did it this way by choice not because their hands are tied. As far as I know, JP and EU have all the same restrictions we do, and EME can do anything JP/EU do if they wanted to.
and that is one of the reasons why people are unhappy with tera atm. if they could give us the same things that the others have but didn't, does that mean they care that little for us and not have to try as hard?
Like what? For example, they're not doing blue box events because they're too easily exploited in our region. Other regions have a different prize structure where they don't care if they get devalued (because different things are more in demand, and they've made them untradeable). If they literally gave the same thing here as they have in other regions, people would almost certainly say the events aren't worth it because the expectations here are different (based on the previous events we've had and the value of consumables).

I don't think it's that EME tried less hard for the anniversary than other regions; for example, EU just threw every single event on a calendar with prize pool of untradeable consumables (because they're all valuable there compared to here) and a huge RNG train to get anything truly valuable and called it a day. Not sure they really "tried harder." Now, whether people are happy with what was created is another story. (I do think the anniversary events here are a flop, not in small part because of how they started and how poorly advertised they were. The only thing people noticed was the golden gift boxes and just said nope; they should have led with the in-game events right from the start...)

i just asked we have something like the tera letter for this anniv at least it is better than nothing and our dear CM is unable to just give us this little thing, so how you want we trust him ?

he just give us more reasons to quit tera every day

Main problem with this Anniversary is that it should be equally rewarding as Kyra.

I said when Kyra event started that it was rewarding a lot and feared for the anniversary won't feel like a good event at all.

Now we have the anniversary and it happens what i said, and that's the problem for hear useless crying from people that only are greedy.

Weekly or Monthly event sould give small bonus to the players and main years event should be like "fu c k it, we are going to be overboard about prices". But after several mongos and kyras giving enought rewards to be afk for a year now the events we have don't look apealing at all.

I hope EME learns about this kind of things.

Okay, so what should the prizes be? I mean, they can't literally do the T-E-R-A event because they already told people it was safe to throw out their letters. They probably could do an event like it, but the big question is always what the prizes should be so that a) people will think it's fun, b) it won't be so overly exploited that the prizes are meaningless, c) it won't be so much more lucrative than actually playing the game itself, and d) it won't hurt the in-game economy more than it has already been hurt by past events.

Honestly, this is a big part of the problem. A lot of the things they're doing with this anniversary are specifically because of the lessons learned from other recent events that had massive problems. Hence, no general open world stuff (too exploitable), no mass amount of consumables (already been devalued enough), careful about how much to put in what content (so that people don't farm the easiest dungeon ad nauseum), not only limiting it just to a day/weekend (so people don't complain they missed it), and so on. And of course the pendulum swung too far the other way now trying to address all these concerns. And as you say, with Anniversary people expected like this giant blow-out event that is amazing, but the past events were so broken that there's no comparison. We've had many a forum thread about "EME stop making broken events" but now they're broken the other way -- they're not exciting/fun.

i can live with another jadeheart dragon, at least with letter we could made some fun in global and keep us busy in open area or give us reason to leveling alt

and i confirm you defend more enmasse interest than tera players ;)

A lot of people complained about Jadeheart Dragon back in the day. It got to the point where they were so useless that it devalued all other mounts in the game. So I'm not sure Jadeheart dragon is really the best example. Maybe they won't care about the Anniversary car because it's a land mount in a flying mount game now, but I suspect they will want people to do something more than buy it for 500g on the broker.

(And, well, if people still haven't figured out why I'm doing what I'm doing, it's pointless to explain it. If you really don't think I'm on the players' side, then no one is defending you at all.)

no he did things for us we wanted for years.

Oh what did he do though that we wanted done for years? costumes/new potions/more p2w mounts/leveling events/kyras

    ?

you are a negative troll, are you blind? no need to discuss with trolls, leave Tera if you are so f...ing negative and angry. If it has nothing and it is not improving, why you are here and crying, what did you do for Tera beside crying? Some players here gave feedback and ofc constructive threads. get your hatred somewhere else.

    Umm, LesbianVi...

I really think you need to get yourself checked. The Dhrizzit virus seems to be strongly rampant inside of you. >.>

A new lord has risen, all hail Dhrizzit 2.0!

As I recall LesbianVI is his friend, considering she attacked me for calling him a cry baby lol

Who's going to be the replacement? Can't you just promote some lower people so the head dude isn't learning on the job in a critical month? Will the old crew band together and push the new guy to go to BH to push for native support for 3rd party innovations (predictive tech, dps meter, fov and graphic/performance improvements) So many questions.

To OP: The quickest way to sabotage your own thread to troll in it, or accuse other people of trolling. From the outside looking in, it seems like you did both. On the first page. Eventually you'll just get a negative following, and the people that don't want to bother will just ignore what you write.

I expect to see halrath taking his place. reason I think this, is because he was introduced on the twitch stream, and talking about working under noesis. coincidence? who knows, cause less than a month later, noesis leaves.

They said on Friday's stream that someone would take over temporarily which they'd announce this week, but they're also going to be looking to hire a new product manager. I guess we'll see...
