Yea, I would like to know your source because I'm still getting dragon scales from VG rewards
he mean the 1st cash shop dragons that boost ur crit dmg by 2.0
Dragons are rng crit they are not pasive skill, I had a rental one on EU server and they have a 25% chance of activating that extra crit.
Long and short, supply and demand.
No one asks or buys and the price is up to the sky.
I know a certain dude that was selling ~1500 lilith's tresure for 850g a pice, when the regular price was 250g,he had the same number of lilith's tresure 1.5 months later cause no one would buy them from him.
Supply and demand is an excuse to put a price tag on something.
Would you buy a Noble Moonlight if I sold it for 900k g?despite you won't be able to get that monut unless u pay real cash.
That'd be the "demand" part of "supply and demand".
Not unless a) it's something I feel I can't live without and b) your price is literally my only option if I don't feel like subjecting myself to the mercy of RNG. Incidentally, that's exactly how economics works (in an extremely bare-bones sense).
High supply, low demand = lower prices since there's a surplus and now people are trying to get rid of that item. Direct competition and all that. Example: Moonlight and Jadeheart mounts
Low supply, high demand = higher prices because there's no other option and, as such, goes unchecked. Example: royal/fury dragons and "fresh" premium costumes
If you prefer a real-world example, just look at Radeon GPUs during the huge bitcoin mining craze back in 2014 or so. Prices skyrocketed because the stores couldn't keep up with demand. It wasn't until a combination of 1) Radeon and the assorted aftermarket companies were able to increase production and 2) Radeon themselves said "Hey, knock that [filtered] off!" that prices became more reasonable. Since the broker is almost entirely player-driven, there's nothing stopping someone from selling, say, a Blitz mount for an upwards of 1mil gold. Will it sell? Most likely no, due to the lack of demand for such a mount and the price tag attached to it.
Royal/Fury dragons are highly coveted by assorted players for assorted reasons. And because they're so hard to get by traditional means, the people fortunate enough to have an extra that they can list on the broker are gonna charge out the [filtered] partly for that reason alone (the other being... come on, who's going to stop them?).
Long and short: At the risk of sounding demeaning, I think you're pretty naive to expect something like a Royal/Fury dragon to be listed in the broker at a (relatively) cheap price.
Prior pvp revamp ppl were making 20k a day just by dailies on alts....not fun
