New player.. past level 9... cant be bothered rerolling..

Do i lose anything interesting by not bothering with buddy up codes?

    I think it is still possible to use a buddy-up code, just check if you have a banner on your character selection screen.
    And yes you loose a lot, money, pet, exp and exp scrolls, costumes and mount :)

    The loot pet is permanent, the mount is temporary. However, at level 65 you do get 1000 federation bills, so you could buy a mount with that. You also get a +12 enchantment scroll I think. Not sure if they still give out bank tabs. It would be nice if En Masse would make an updated page displaying the current rewards.

    The bank expansion (EMP only item), money, pet, experience, enchanting materials, federation bills are not temporary, and they are quite useful.
    And the 30 day vilage atlas and bonus exp too if you dont want to subscribe to elite yet :)

    If you can't be bothered rerolling, why even ask in the forums? Lv1 to Lv13 is what, 15 minutes? 20 minutes tops. It's a minimal investment, but also just a small taste of the class you're playing. Make a new character, do a buddy up and play it out. The benefits are certainly well worth it, especially for new players.

    1) Free 30days of 2x exp (will save you time if you dungeon alot)
    2) Enough gold to level up all your skills (the jewels can be sold for gold) as well as having spare gold to buy out materials when you hit 65, that is a double plus.
    3) Enough freebies to keep you going.
    4) Optional cosmetics and mounts (temporary but well good enough)

    Is it a necessity to get to endgame? No. Is it good to have? Definitely.

    Did they fix the gem part? (Where you get gems in the boxes) I know last time I got to I think 30 I finally got my gems, but before that (Like a week before) I did not, wondering if they fixed that

    Yeah, charms are no longer in game, so that needs an update
