They could fix all events by having all items bind to account, non tradeable, and placing an account wide limit of mats per event. For example, can only gather a maximum of 500 alkahest. All items that the player receives are bind on pick up if they are mailed to the player or bind on account if item is pick up in the world. This way the players that can farm hardcore can't acquire more mats than what the developers allow them nor can they profit from said event.

The real question is how. BHS would have to add a mechanism to the game where it counts up all of each mat you earn during an event period and check that every time the loot drops (or it decides what to send you). The strain on the database to do all those checks would be pretty immense. (Plus, you don't want to totally stop people who play more to be able to win more, since that's an incentive too.)

This is why I was thinking to use the store to redeem prizes like how Kyra's works, because that's something they can control and that puts a sort of rate limit on it. Claim as much as you want in-game, but the big prize can only be claimed once through the store, and the in-game prizes are more incremental.

But yeah... basically the solution needs to have some sort of element like this to fully solve the issue.

There is clearly an issue here, we tend to forget.

So I don't know, 3-4 days on EU and I've accumulated 300 boxes from their blue box event and spammed them all today. Bunch of feedstock, mwa, spellbind, tokens, cosmetic accessories, costumes, 7-day mounts, disco ball, and japanese style lanterns that float away, goldfinger tokens, and 9 days of tera club. Only thing I've seen so far on NA is a cash shop box. Am I missing something? Are there any decent events on going or coming to NA?

    Edit: Wouldn't let me type B a l l s

If you play all day you can get some less than mediocre items from the NA token shop!

This even is just a way to get rid of players and to make some more money for self. This way no reason for ppl to say "no event at all". Sad part of this that people are and will swallow this, they will try hard to get tokens so after they could say someone "I was able to get X on event" or just look at that awesome mount more often.
But the thing is that bitter feeling when "its unfair" won't go anywhere.
And those who thought that this so-called event will be fine both to players and creator in long term future just cuts his tree with golden coin. Because this is an event for rare people who 24/7 in Tera. Yes they will pay for boxes and farm dungeons till faint and after encouraged by this event will spend more money on regular basis. May be even a lot. But... The amount of people who were offended by this event and (main) this attitude will be much much bigger. This will be bigger loss (here we can add nit pleasant memories about servers last time also) than gain from bunch of those who 24/7.
I keep hear from diff sides that people want to go to EU. It's the answer for those who made event and think that it will "pass itself" and ppl will calm down.

I got 8 or 10 tokens in two chats. It's result of my runs for some other stuff. The way it drops (amount), inability to stack in one char and the IDEA that I have to tear apart if i want to get something on Anniversary event (its like a holiday, its not the event for challenge) is sick. Challenge is good but everything must have limits.

The wings are the best tho. When did story q always wondered why we don't have that. The best thing that it suits any char, any gender and doesn't look like paper

Expecting it to reward you more than dungeons for minimal effort out in the open world makes no sense

You are actually claiming that giving players a reason to explore the beautiful landscape of tera makes no sense.

Be fair. You should know full-well that there is no "exploring the beautiful landscape" done during these events. There are well-known paths that people exploit to oblivion to maximize their rewards while the players unaware of these paths end up with scraps while the tradeable prizes are devalued. I mean, I enjoy blue box events too, but it's pretty problematic now (as that one Kyra's event showed). Any proposal to use this event has to at least consider this aspect to it.

Yeah, well, people who do Gridion are exploiting the current rewards. How about they do something about that, huh? This whole event is being exploited by hardcore players and that's, like, so problematic because, like, people who aren't hardcore end up with, like, scraps and we need equality of outcome since, like, when individual ability and effort makes a difference that's so totally not fair to the rest of us.
