New Player Asking For Advice

So I'm new to the game, just about to finish the download. I'm wondering if I should even invest my time/money into this game. A lot of people have told me it's "dying" but so is WoW, and I've played that for the longest time.

Tera game is a player-friendly mmorpg , at level 65 you can enjoy endgame. Plus paying for elite status is worth it.

PS.. Hope you find in the game a good time and new Friends >:3

Hey welcome! First, nope, it's not dying, you'll be able to find plenty of people to play with at endgame. Leveling is a bit lonely, since all the fun content is at max lvl (65), but getting to lvl 65 takes no more than 20 hours, if you do dungeons (just queue by opening the instance matching icon, available above lvl 20) and vanguard quests (press H to see them, they're available above lvl 15). My suggestion is to find a friendly guild right away, because there are a lot of things the game doesn't teach you that you absolutely need to know. Endgame is all about running dungeons and gearing up, while doing some battlegrounds from time to time: don't expect a PvP game, Tera is mainly a pve game.
Tera is all about its action combat, it has one of the best combat systems out there.
About the classes, tera relies on the trinity system: tank, dps (damage dealer), and healer; all of the classes are pretty complex, but if you're looking for something that's new player friendly I'd say go with ninja, gunner, or archer (even these classes take A LOT of time to master).
I hope this gives you a rough idea about the game, if you have any other questions feel free to ask ;)

P.S. If you haven't chosen a server yet, go either with Tempest Reach, or Mount Tyrannas, they're the most populated ones.
