Crystal Lv requirement for BG Queue
First of all, everyone probably agrees with that using currect crystal is very basic and important thing in TERA.
However, TERA itself does not teach new players which crystals they need to use. Well, there is a tip about this in "Welcome Message", but to be honest, I think no one reads it. Also, there is a lot of good guide which people can find in google, but lots of people just ignore it and do not want to spend their time to read a guide to prepare/improve themselves.
During the whole time of BG history(maybe as well as PVE IMS), too many people use wrong crystal which makes their team(and themselves) getting a disadvantage. I usually inspect 6-7 people when I enter a BG, and this still happens nowadays. I usually notice them in raid chat, but mostly they ignored. Sometimes, my team kick the person with wrong crystal, but it will be also a disadvantage for my team to start with less number of member unless someone joins in pregress BG before it starts. It can happen for some people who just forget to switch it. However, most of the people wearing wrong crystals are just who do not know what is wrong. Crystals are pretty cheap now so that new players can easily purchase them from NPC and/or broker. And there is no reason to not use it anyway.
Indeed, battleground is the field that people compete(or maybe practice) with their pvp skill. I really wish BG does not become just a farming field for new players who have no idea and who do not prepare at all. And I always wish TERA itself has a great tutorial so that TERA can teach people to get improved.
Therefore, I suggest a crystal level system as a requirement for BG queue. This is basically similar as item level requirement for IMS.

This is just an example of crystal point.
Crystals in deep color(in each column) means they work in pvp well, and its 1 point for each crystal
Crystals in medium brightness means they somewhat work in pvp, but are not prefered. So they are neutral, 0 point.
Crystals in the brightest color means they are useless in pvp, so they have -2 points.
Empty crystal slot can be considered as useless, so it has -2 points as well.
Let's see the total point for a few example combination of crystals.

This is one of correct PVP crystal sets. Every crystal has +1 point so the total will be +12.

This is one of PVE crystal sets. Only 1 weapon crystal works in pvp, and accessory crystals are all neutral. However, this set has 7 PVE only crystals so the total will be -13.

This is quite complicate. Weapon and Accessory crystals are for PVP, but it has 4 wrong armor crystals. The total points will be 0. 0 point means the player has at least 4 useless crystals for PVP or has too many neutral crystals which is less prefered in PVP.
With this point system, players with 0 or negative crystal point cannot queue BGs like people cannot queue IMS with lower item level than dungeon requires.
People might still use wrong crystals which have positive points like Griefing for healers or brilliant for dps. However, at least people can learn "PVP requires PVP crystals" with this system.
this system can be applied to PVE IMS as well, but it needs another points for PVE. So eventually, each crystal will have pvp point and pve point, and BG/IMS will require a minimum crystal points for players to request.

@Spacecats , BHS and EME should think why pvp is getting dead. It is, first, because of the reward but with the jackpot events, now it seems good. However, second, there are still lots of usless people who have no idea what pvp is. If you have lots of retards, your team barely wins even though your team has an op premade.
People with totally wrong crystals are the worst retards, so there must be a systematic limitation to get rid of them.
Indeed, like @JasonTERA said, crystals are so cheap now and there is no reason that people cannot prepare them. If people do not have any gold to buy them, they should go farm vanguards quest to make 4-5k gold to get pvp crystals first.
People barely kick people with wrong crystals..and due to that, new players never learn and keep being a [filtered]. There must be a systematic advice from Tera or a guide, or a tutorial for new payers.
