lack of new players

for the first time since I started to play tera (started at gunner release ) I see a class that is being released that is not op at all and is very fun to play and healers got a very good buff and I was sooo happy .... but then I noticed that It takes me double the time to find a group for a dungeon so I thought maybe people are not leveling new healers and leveling ninjas instead so if I make a healer ill be in in no time but still the wait is too long on my server although I play around prime time on MT which really confuses me
I believe this game is far from dead ( especially with the new patch ) but why isn't there any new players coming?

The majority of lower levelled characters comes from people making alts in the interim between patches.

Right now, most of those that wanted to make a ninja have already gotten it to max level.

And as far as the others that usually make alts, they're gearing this patch, and going for hardmode clears as well as farming for visionmaker.

Depends on the level of the character. People tend to solo much of lower level group dungeons for the fast xp and top gear. Didn't get regular queues until SSG. And newer players are frequently told to do the same.

There are new players. I met a lot leveling up. The problem is keeping them hooked. There are too many limitations in place. Instance limitations, the bg point limitation. No gold or items even worth mentioning drop from mobs/BAMS. BAM's are basically dumbed down for people to space bar spam them to death.

ENMASSE is pushing their players through a tunnel vision sort of gameplay where if you go a bit off the line it's a big no no. Move to much to the left too much to the right the fun is taken away, if you will.

There shouldnt be restrictions on dungeons and pvp systems. Ive played at least 5 role playing MMO'S and never have i heard of only being able to do X amount of dungeons per day or gold not dropin from kills or limitations to BG rewards. These things are a huge downer. Just feels like you can only go 1 way and 1 way only.

The game is fun as hell dont get me wrong but these limits really are frustrating and stupid. ENMASSE is basically on a mission to kiling their own game.without even knowing it.

idk I kind of love the limits as I only can play for 2 to 3 hours per day at most so the limitations makes me think I'm not missing out on anything but I get your point that for people with more free time than me that must be frustrating
about the BAMs and stuff I agree with u its kind of disappointing I mean believe it or not a game like BnS seems harder compared to tera right now.

I know I am only one *new* player, but I'm new nonetheless. I started playing a couple of days ago. I'm enjoying the game a lot, but I have no desire to heal. However, I've also convinced my partner to play along with me and she really likes the mystic. My biggest gripe is the lack of information and guides for the classes I'm interested in playing. (All warrior guides are very outdated.) Some moves are self-explanatory, but this transparency doesn't always lend itself to obvious rotations. If I lose interest because I'm too intimidated by end game (due to not having community guides) then I'll probably quit. I have no desire to be yelled at in dungeons because my DPS is atrocious because I'm not following a popular theory-crafted rotation. And if I quit, my partner quits as well.

u will find all the guides u need in there if u want but skip the part about gears because its outdated ...also if I may say starting your first char as a warrior is not the best idea I mean don't get me wrong they are my favorite class but its kinda hard to start with because they have so many useless skills (once upon a time a long time ago warriors used to tank )..I remember the first warrior I made I deleted it at 60 because of having so many skills and I tried to use them all and failed and died so many times so u should start something fun like a ninja or a slayer they have very nice combos and after a while come back to warriors and u will fall in love from first sight. ...but if u want to go at it the hard way and stick wih the warrior then here is a quick tip ...if your dps skills take slots more than from 1-6 till lvl 50 then there is still some trimming that u can do ( aside from backstab and the rush skill I bind those to a and e )

Most of the low level chars are twinks....and some just sologrind exp. They made a move against with the party exp buff in dungeons tho.

well ill test that tonight ...as much as it pains me to be a warrior tank ill try applying as a tank today and see what happens
