Advice for lvl 65 Berserker - Where do I start and go?
I'm returning to Tera after a long hiatus and never got very far once I got my zerker to lvl 65. I'm trying to figure out what should I being doing at lvl 65. What gear set do I go for next? How does the world of masterworking and re-rolling work? Basically, what's next in becoming a stronger player? I'd like to focus on PvE right now, but am hoping for acceptable PvP performance eventually.
I've summarized my plan based on the research I've done. Can someone look over this and verify that my understandings and priorities are solid? I'll underline my main questions. I'm starting with a Fulminate Set with +9 on the weapon. My priorities are as follows:
1. Get the Dreadnaught set (through Kalivan’s Dreadnaught Normal Mode)
2. +9 the Dreadnaught weapon before going for the next set
........a. Lucid or Starfall?
........b. Should I MasterWork the Dreadnaught weapon before going for the next set?
........c. Should I just reroll its stats to optimal stats and not Masterwork it?
........d. Should I enchant other gear in the set, too?
3. Rinse and repeat until I have the Best in Game gear set.
4. Re-rolls and stats (I'll basically follow Ultemecia's guide here)
5. Crystals
........a. Blue - Hardy (maybe some Anarchic for boss dmg reduction)
........b. Red - Bitter, Savage, Focused, Carving (acrimonious for boss fights)
........c. Green - Keen (or Powerful?)
Is this a good general plan?
Do you have any recommendations for what I should be doing daily to accomplish it?
I think I'll be needing higher gold income… what do you recommend?
I'm just trying to start off on the right foot and it's a huge world and I'm trying to set my compass straight.

pick up your idoneal set from dougal at highwatch. then start the Desolate Garden quest on the Island of Dawn, you gotta kill like 31 bams. finishing that quest gives you all your Dreadnaught pieces, jewelry, handfuls of alk and an emerald. it's a good deal, do it.
next, lucid is obsolete now, so don't even worry about it. and sure you could grind out mats for starfall, but are you willing to +15? if you're like nah, then enchant your dreadnaught up to +12, which is easy as heck now, and run Demokron Factory for Slaughter gear. You can use your Slaughter gear to work towards the best in slot gears (imperator).
Crystals; All hardy. Anarchic is obsolete, Hardy for everything PVE more or less. You want keen vyrsks as a zerker, I reckon. And your red crystals look fine (except acrimonious that [filtered] is also obsolete now).
Exhaust your VG dailies every day for gold income, you also get feedstock and credits you can use to buy masterwork alk boxes. Also, yes on rerolling your stats on your gear-- just make sure they're all gold lines cause they count towards your ilvl.
Hopefully my guide helps you out a bit, if you have some questions or anything feel free to message me. I'm always available to help out people.
But to touch on a couple things in a bit more detail. I'd +12 your dreadnaught for the simple reason of getting a party. In a perfect world you'd +9 it and hold on to that till your slaughter. But it's extremely tough to get a party if you're in +9 dread. That's the reasoning behind +12'ing the low tier set. Slaughter is your next step like Ardie said. But for zerks a big thing is your jewelry. Don't focus fully on your gear and forget about jewelry. Starting a good set is x2 corvette and x2 cutter plus the cutter necklace. I cover rolls and things for them in my guide. Just remember for zerks we live on crits. Jewelry is a big part of that.
I tried to make my guide as all encompassing for 65 players as much as I could. If you see something that's confusing in it for you let me know and I'll fix it in the guide.
Also since you're about to delve into 65 dungeons, look at the bottom of my guide and look at the guides i've posted for the dungeons. Read em and learn em. It'll help you out in the long run.
Again, thanks a lot.
