New slayer looking for help on the class in pve..

Hey I am a new player and I am looking for guide/help about slayer rotations/gearing etc. I've heard crit factor is very important for slayers but couldn't find any exact cap for crit factor. Also which accessories shall I use? I would welcome advices from veteran and experienced slayers and other players alike :)

    Spacebar is your friend. Get to know it and use it frequent. Spacebar will unleash awesome combos you won't even think of. Huehue

    1. Do not use spacebar and instead press those skills manually
    2. Learn how to make your clunky rotation "flow"
    3. Use Charge + Whirlwind when you need fillers
    4. Always OP the Heartstrike or Measured Slice with cancling
    5. Use ICB with enrage from boss
    6. Wait for buffs because even if you do it all perfectly you still cannot compare to some other classes.

    What I can say about slayers is, their damage spikes a lot, you have 2-3 seconds of crazy bursts, like Guile/Misery gear you'd burst 3-5 million DPS for a few seconds, and then... you got nothing for 5-6 seconds. So it is important to make those few seconds count every now and again.

    Does a good job at going into the subject and the math behind it. It looks like a lot to handle, but it's the best class guide I have ever seen.

    Sorry for the late reply guys. I appreciate your replies. I tried playing slayer but I don't feel like the class is for me , also surviving as melee with 200 ping is kinda tough :( I have decided to main sorc now :p

    Worry not, love. Choose a class that speaks to you. Not every class is for everyone. Find something you like and stick to it. :)
