Thats because FF doesnt.. Have good reapers..

In pve, this is even worse. That is why I feel confident in FF

Every class has a viable niche where they can be good, the classes that are considered more OP simply have more realistic scenarios when this happens. In that regard Reaper and Valkyrie are the two most broken classes in pvp atm. There really aren't any situations where those two classes can't faceroll.

I main Warrior because it has the largest playstyle variety. Dunking people with reaper never feels fun because every reaper just does the same thing with the only difference between good and average reapers being that the good reaper is just faster. There's no block canceling to master, or refining the playstyle.

Valk is more fun but I feel dirty when playing it because it's objectively broken as [filtered]. Not as bad as release brawler was but still holy [filtered] I wan't to know what BHS be smoking because dat must be some top of the line weed.

Is there a warrior playstyle that doesnt use backstab, I wanna see.
  • Reaper is good but probably the hardest class in the game tbh so I like to exhibit my skill by playing it. Worst class for me would probably be lancer, easiest class in the game by far just makes it unfun.

Dstance warrior can pretend to be a hybrid of Slayer/Zerker. You can kill people by staggerlocking and knockdown chaining.

    For instance combative strike->rising fury->pounce->rain of blows->reaping slash->poison blade->rising fury->blade draw->dodge roll behind->vortex->blade draw->scythe

^This will build both 10 edge and usually 100-0 a target that doesn't have retal without using backstab or battle cry.

  • Fr tho, I think ppl should stop complaining about valk. Valk is the hardest class in this game. It takes so much skill to get good at. When I die to a valk i know that that valk was hella skilled and knew his [filtered]. #StopTheHate
  • That's quite some joke Noble.
  • Reaper = best PvP asset in every scenario.
    - Medium/close ranged stagger mechanics,
    - low CD iframes + counter,
    - invisibility for ambush tactics (doubles as an iframe),
    - vampiric skills with medium long range and stagger lock,
    - stuns that hit in front as well as behind(smite),
    - 22m ranged KD(sundering strike),
    - huge AOE with suction knock down that sets up for pendulum->whipsaw and gives stagger/kd immunity during cast,
    - the ability to dot and swap places with a stun effect from 40ish meters,
    - the ability to instantly close 18m with a stun,
    - and best of all shadow reaping ( not suitable for 1v1 as it ensure a guaranteed win)

You can't catch a decent reaper. On my reaper I had the most fun kiting the front of raid parties and picking off whoever got too far ahead of the group. Example of reaper distance closing: dash->dash->smite->pendulum strike->dash->dash->shadow reaping->dash->dash->smite->pendulum strike->dash->dash. That takes about 10 secs to do and gets you over 64m travel with the dashes alone. You can literally get out of render distance from people in combat with you, and then just go invis to [filtered] up the back of their raid (assuming they were chasing you).

It's no wonder if a lot of you haven't seen a decent reaper since at the surface it seems like an ezpz spacebar class.

Another guy hit the point earlier... Reaper is probably the hardest class to master, once you figure out the spacebar combo is crap >_>.

    Respectfully,
    Hardmode
