    Beside that everything feels the same as before valkyrie patch

    Its Mostly for Attacks nothing is effected but attacks.

    Newly updated you have to. 12 hrs ago it was perfectly fine but now its mest up.

    Locks haven't changed at all on Priest at least. It's the same since Valkyrie update here. In fact nothing has changed controls wise on Priest since Valkyrie update. Not to say it's fixed or good (for ME it is, for many others not), but it hasn't changed. Only thing is that En Masse now published the changes.

    OK now they... changed valk completely? It's now in character direction? Not just that, but a mixed bag changed anywhere now. Some skills are camera direction, some character, and then if it wasn't already a weird mixed bag they... change it again. Nice way to leave me from playing Valkyrie.
    Suddenly force change stuff again out of nowhere? Great job... I never used that method and they just, well, ruined the class now.

    I can see that some people would feel it as "fixed" now that it's character direction, but this just shifts the problem to the other part of the controller players. Just hot potato tossing around it is not fixing please.

    It may just be me but I'm extremely happy with this change. I couldn't pvp with her before and now I can try to :D

    I REALLY wish they reversed it for priest though, but I guess I'll just hafta learn. At least the little healing circle skill (Can't remember what it's called, but the icon is blue) has a bit of leave-way(The other player can be off to the side a bit and still be healed)

    At least this is a lot better than all camera direction. IMO the most important class skills are char-direction (Minus the priest, R.I.P.)
  • Very easy thing they can do is. Just make it 3 options Character direction and Camera direction Like it was before. Add a new one called hybrid. or they can go to the extreme and give use full control of it O.O? let you pick and choice which skills you want on and for moving and which is which. I would just be happy if th ey just give us a option to put it back to normal way it was before this patch.

    Yes, like I said they shifted the problem, or tossed it like a hot potato, now to me.
    Jeez how hard is it to revert stuff in worst case... I'm OK with my Priest having to rotate camera again to go to specific places on the I-frame (like I actually got used to) if we just get Valk to work as both of us want: you character direction, me camera direction.

    agreed 100%, can't imagine it being such a horribly hard task, and with the incoming console port, they SHOULD be focusing hard on controller support. I mean that's the expected way to play a console game, even if it does (and hope it does) support keyboard and mouse.

    I noticed one issue with my healer, while fighting the solo dungeons I started to whiff on attacks I previously hadn't. I'm used to pulling back and to the side to run away from an attack, and as soon as I am clear of it I will retaliate with my own. Now when I do this I just end up attacking the empty space behind me. Doing the same thing on a Brawler after using dash to evade unblockables. I was so used to and would rather have camera direction for every skill except evasion moves. Having to push forward again after evading seems counter intuitive, as I'm already looking at my target with camera and ready to pounce. Plus it slows down reaction times just enough to annoy.

    Without experiencing it I can see the importance of character direction in pvp, when a player backstabs or evades through you it may be quicker than rotating the camera for some as it is slower on a controller by default. Seems you almost have to use xpadder or similar to increase the sticks sensitivity if you want to be on par with a mouse. I don't see that being an issue for me as I have forced my camera to move fast.
