in TERA PC - General Discussion
So I saw the announcement that Tera is coming out on ps4 and xbox one. Anyone knows a precise date?

Also I saw the new Nintendo Switch has some nice games lime cod, Skyrim etc.. Do you thing a game like Tera could be released on such a console?

It would be awesome to carry around your console and play Tera every now and then :awesome:

    They probably don't have the resources to make a Switch port, plus Tera as a game needs way more controls that the switch can't offer.

    Xbox One and PS4 are largely a PC architecture, processor and GPU are heavily similar to a normal computer so it's not an insane work to make it work on all 3 platforms
    Switch whoever has a completely different architecture (Nvidia Tegra based) and like mentioned, controls. Playing TERA on PC with Xbox 360 controller fills it up entirely.

    Well I saw that switch has the same amount of keys on the controller or actually one more. Then I read that switch has an nvidia cuda as graphic card.

    I expect it to be lower quality yes, but I think it's possible cos switch actually have the potential in my opinion.

    lies, people love mmorpg's on consoles.. there just isnt any good ones.. besides neverwinter which had/has a larger user base than pc and xbox i think your very wrong about mmo's on console

    just hope the PS4 and XBOX users can play with the PC users.. AKA use the same account.. i wouldnt mind just gaming on the couch.

    I lay on my bed when using a controler to play Tera on PC, sadly I have to get my mouse and keyboard near becuase interactions with UI are faster with controler.

    Ive got a controller on my PC too... but my ps4 is already setup for maximum lazyness...

    Yep, I know that feel. The mouse pointer with click on analog stick like those old nub mouses on laptops just won't do. Tho if the screenshot I saw is real, they're making a controller optimized UI with directional selection instead of mouse pointer buttons, using the rest of they controller keys as navigation to speed up.

    I really hope they don't i mean look at all the damage done by Blizzard alone cause by as we said in the day "Catering to the Casuals"
