Rework Early Game Dungeons

I recently decided to level up an Archer to expand my array of alts.

I found that queues always ranged from 20-45 minutes for most of the dungeons. This could be a causing factor for users to stop playing the game.

I recommend that early game dungeons be reworked so that after 5 minutes of queue time one of these solutions come into play:

1. Implement a dungeon healer, like in Channelworks, that will assist a 4 man dps team in the dungeon and also reduce the cost of Neophyte by atleast half so that new players can level efficiently without blowing what little cash they have.

OR

2. Just allow 4 man dps teams after 5 minutes of queue time without a party found and reduce Neophyte by 2/3's.

Either of these solutions would boost retention rate which I believe is something that needs to be done now that early game dungeons have been buffed.

Comments

  • The easy fix is to bring back. Blast to the past. Allowed people to do old dungeons at level 65 and get great rewards. They will be reduced to the level equalling to the level for the dungeon giving other players advance over them but they still can fill in space.

Short form is a level 65 gets reduce to bare min level that others can enter dungons keeping there level 65 skills but lose 75% cirt rate as a pass over.
