Change scares people. It makes some upset, it makes some happy after it's actually happened. But change can't be avoided. All you can do is deal with it or run from it and whine.
sincerely i dont know who is happy with the end of alliance and there is difference between change to improve something and change without to think if it is good or bad
I would love to see Alliance brought back (or some alternative), but I don't think it's on their list of priorities.
also shouldve removed AC buff, would have made pvp so much more fun
I think that maybe you hit right on the mark and if this project is going to mix pc version and consoles version in the same servers then sound logical.
I would say no dumbing down is nothing new to mmos cater to the casual to increase player base very old concept started with the release of wow. Seeing as Hardmode HE THING OF ALL THAT IS UBERTY SMASHER OF DREGS AND really really nice guy was able to be that op with a controller then alls good with that sadly controller went pft when the entitlement whine dregs caused so much drama over him learning his stuff and became awesome something new players would inspire to be but they wanted hand outs or nerf him. Sorry derailed but dumbing down has nothing to do with console. Heck if world famous game breaker rogue Gaeowyn will be playing first time on console clearly no dumbing down for it.
- Guilds should be able to form alliances and split the rewards.
- Rewards should be increased.
- Disallow access to CU territory for guildless players and guilded players without a tower.
- Tower elimination should boot players out of CU territory.
- CU should last the entire 2 hour limit regardless of how many allied towers remain.
-remove all alliance perks or equalize them in some way
-change individual player standings into guild standings
-Make CUV only accessable by the top 3 guilds of each alliance on saturday for the guild tower event and bam rewards
would make it a week long effort than rather logging in on saturday for maybe 2 hours to get free gear then logging off
1) Change AC aura to increase dmg instead of immune to kd, stagger, and stun.
2) Let more people participate, aka Echelon 4
3) Slightly buff up the gold rewards for everyone, and include some other consumables
4) Give specific alliance gear, so people can't be gear carried

It seems like they are intentionally dumbing down the game and removing features to make it more console/casual friendly (and easier to manage). Of course, I hope I'm proved wrong and they start adding meaningful content and features in the future.

Nope because think about it. They remove content to make it more console-ish so it's less workloads for them. So they won't have two different different editions of the game content to work with. And then they will keep it in two different servers to have even less workload so they won't have to make the PC server look like the Console server.
Remember 'bhs is a small company with limited resources'. We hear this for years.
