PVP store vs PVE store

I play like an idiot for hours day and night and try to make Starfall gear on 2 characters and when i look on that stupid pvp store you can just take all from there.
Why the stuff that are in pvp store are not in pve one? Not all people do pvp. I play video games for 7 years (4 years only Tera) and i never did pvp not even once . I dont like kill other ppl, i dont like the fights and the bad language, the kicks etc...
Please put in pve store also the things that are in pvp one. Dont force ppl to do pvp if they dont like.
And also why we pve people must fight for Starfall mats and other stuff, wipe in dungeons, farm for hours and pvp ppl just go and kill each other and they dont even have to win to buy all they want. What is this PWI?
What if people that pvp only had nothing in store and they will be force to pve all day long? for us is same

That's probably to keep pvp alive.
  • "What if people that pvp only had nothing in store and they will be force to pve all day long?"

It was like this for a long time.... Let PvP friends have something.

It really is just to keep pvp with enough ppl so that stuff pops and really no other reason.

I agree with you, even though I think it's fair to pvp players to buy the materials in the store. Pve players should be able do to the same, as a alternative source for dungeons. We don't want pvp players in dungeons, they don't want us ruining their bgs. So if both sides have equal ways to get the same stuff, everyone will be pleased.

Forrestgunner you have said this so good. This is exactly what i think. Let us have equal store because there are many things at pvp store that we cannot take. Like Smart Niveot Structure. We need that to for pve and Starfall materials that are not just pvp gear.

You pve ppl got it easy for years, now deal with it.
  • Pve is much easier and faster at obtaining gear for years, and now they just added pvp aspect of obtaining it also. You still have dungeons that drops SF mats.

Also this will not be fair because now pve players will have 2 source of income of gear mats.

Leave it as it is because you choose to party/raid with others to fight over mats. You choose to not like pvp, which is causing you to not like it for the benefits it gives and how it also revived the pvp scene.

it never was like that, Rene was from Ks shop by BGs credits, Tensus same. Don't lie

It's mostly because the PvP rewards are concentrated in the stores (due to the way PvP works), but with PvE they're spread over many different means. So if you put everything into a "PvE Store", then you'd have to rid of or streamline most of the other ways of earning things (drops, other tokens, quests, etc.). Now, personally speaking, I prefer a token-based approach over random drops, so I'd be in favor of putting at least the mid-tier gear in a token store along with all key enchanting supplies... but that would still require a more substantial reworking of all the reward systems so that things are balanced.

It is also true, as people have said, that in many past patches things were unbalanced the other way and PvP players had no way to gear up except by doing PvE content... so if it's gone too far the other way now, it may just be the pendulum effect. Hopefully it'll settle in a good place going forward.

Tensus also needed inferno ores. In any case, that's the problem with having a hybrid set with PvP and PvE stats as the BiS gear, we saw it with starfall, for a good while you had to run PvE content (which has limited entries) in order to get most of the materials needed.

...Except the pvp BG's aren't hard. I also PVE to get things that I need/want because it's not always possible to get it through PVP. Stop whining and put the effort/work in for the things you want.

If you really want your PVE gear you can do the PVP stuff just like PVP players have done all PVE to farm for their PVP gear. That's how it has ALWAYS been for PVPers. You have to do both. The kids who get best in slot as quickly as possible.. do you think they're JUST doing PVP or PVE?
  • I honestly don't see the problem with SF mats in the KS shop. But that might just be me wanting to get my feet wet in the PvP scene.
And like @Cezzare said, there is only a limited amount of entries into PvE dungeons. Why should PvPers be forced to only run PvE for the mats they need?
Besides, I'd rather get my mats from a token shop instead of gambling on RNG all the time.

PvE players can get PvE gear from doing PvE.
PvP players can get PvP gear from doing PvP.
Hybrid players who play both PvP and PvE can get gear from both.

I don't see the problem with this. PvE players can get the PvE gear they need without having to do PvP-- they can't get the PvP gear, which they have no use for anyways. PvP players can get the PvP gear they need, without having to do PvE. This is fantastic to be honest.

It's so that pve morons will queue stuff because "zomg fast monies fast mats" and get farmed then rage quit pvp when they realise they can't smash face on keyboard and fully gear carry themselves against OTHER players. It's fun.
