This is why stuff from every single event shouldn't be tradeable and even better, make it account bound so they can't send them to their main accounts.
These people make use of scripts for these account not being logged out.

I do have alts that still need leveling, but I work on the weekends... as many others do. Since I don't use scripts, macros, etc.. I will unfortunately see little benefit from this event, due to the booting. ~shrugs~
It's just irritating that they would host an event that would encourage people to exploit the system and overload the servers. Shorter stretch goals might have helped.
you are right but also another problem is, even with untradeable, still demands get lowered, those really/honestly farming to sell mats get rekt, even we make untrade-able VM mats but eventually those will sell their mats. because of those players community can't have good things.
Don't hold me to it, I don't wanna start a witch hunt and stuff, but I knew some players from LOL making money there, we see around about stuff there, they targeted Smite and Tera, less Tera now tho but still some say they can open multiple clients on one account. Not sure, but if true, RIP
added: good thing is afking normally gets you dced from server.
In that case, try to get about 3 hours of actual play, then afk for the next two hours until you get booted (it's 2 hours for me, can't imagine it'd be different for others). Or, if you can leave your pc on, find some way to have your character jump all the time. Seems to be working.
I should be able to squeeze a few hours of playtime in tonight.

You don't need a script to prevent the game from booting you out. A coin can do the trick(though it'd be kinda obvious what you are doing to anyone who happens to walk by).
As for the event...it's...lazy really. They obviously had some coding done for it(that interface and stuff) but when they got to the mechanics of the event, figured, afking is good enough. I'm also not sure why being online for 2-3 days should count as commitment but, well, anything else would mean more work for BHS so...here we are.
just use a wall and put a weight item, for exemple a lead dice on the button to walk or space bar or auto attack
and i didnt test, but i think than when monster attack you, you dont unlog from the game, if the theory is true is mean than some people can hide in bol
This and/or untradeable versions of the items would fix the whole issue really.
