  • lmao i have a brawler she is 65 i have a 65 reaper and my slayer is 50 i would like to make a new class. Are the ninjas good just cuse there new or are they for real and i did make a gunner seemed a little slow.

New classes will always be ovepowered at release time to hook new players, BHS developers have acutally stated they will apply balance to ninjas but they wouldn't do it inmediately nor make any drastic changes because they "don't want to discourage" players. Anyway, ninjas have a really high damage output and their playstyle feels fast paced, currently it seems the top 4 would be ninja>brawler>reaper/gunner, in my recent runs in some dungeons, for example, I've seen undergeared ninjas take aggro off from newbie brawlers, while months ago it were brawlers that could take aggro from anyone.
  • If you like to solo, Brawler is allllll the way :)

For what im guessing you want a strong and fast dps class.
I played all classes except healers and archer up to 65 and atleast +12 dread.
Imo slayer fitts quite well as a fast and bursty dps. Ninja is very cool too, it has a rly fast playstyle, with many smaller hits (except fire tavalanche, that [filtered] hits like a truck) that add up the more aggressive you play.
Best range class numberwise rn is gunner and its also a lot of fun
  • The best DPS class is the one you enjoy playing the most.
  • You want Dps, ok, $ recognize that ? Every dps class is good, you need gear, want that, buy it, it's not about the skills that much, it's a gear carried game, spend your milions and be happy.

I agree that any dps class with proper gear and player skill will hit like a truck. But there's these new gender locked classes that are made very easy to play. To me, ninja has the easiest to use rotation, since the class has very few skills compared to, say, sorc, and a few of them are set up as your default space bar rotation, and later they get power link glyphs that make them even stronger. Ninja may be currently the flavor of the month class so it will see balancing later, but it's dps will probably remain high. If all you want is a 'strongest dps' class always, you will see yourself changing, learning and gearing different classes every 6 or so months. Still in the end, it's up to your own skill at the class and how high is the gear you have on it to make the most of it's capabilities.

Just because you choose the supposed best class at the moment does not necessarily mean that you will do well. It really comes down to a matter of which playstyle is most attractive to you. I main an Archer and will never give her up. I have tried other classes and have alts, but by far have most fun with Archer because I enjoy the challenge and every kill has so much more of a rewarding feeling. You're just going to have to play for a while and find what suits you best. Good luck and have fun!

It's a game, right? So, I suppose better class to you is the one you have more fun.
I really don't know what is the deal with people that are always picking up the more powerful class just to farm faster. If it doesn't fun, so it doesn't worh even playing.

Ninja is the top dps, but you have to play very well and not get hit because they are squishy and one of their skills is a skill that gives you more damage the longer you don't get hit up to a 50% buff. Otherwise the ninja skills are very simple and there are only a few of them. If you can play ninja correctly you will do insane damage.

I kinda giggle at how everyone's like, ''Play what you want'', ''play what fits you'' But in all reality...Not speaking from experience (Cus I currently play Healer) but you constantly see people whom get kicked from dungeons b'cus ''You suck at Sorc cus their Dps is garbo'' or ''Warrior Dps? L.o.L -kicks-'' Generally because they can't complete with these FoTM classes unless you have BiS stuff and know your character like the inside of your waifu's pantsu <. > Atleast from what I've seen... Might be diff on other servers.

The 'play what you want' comment comes from the experience many players have had where if they like a class and they feel good playing it, they will try to learn the class with more enthusiasm and in theory, get better at the class, whereas if a person doesn't like a class, even if the class is hard proven to be better, they won't attempt to get better at it because of lack of interest, and do poor performance. In the end, many people are particular to certain classes, though there's the few out there who can do well at any class, and can jump from FOTM to FOTM with relative ease.

I think a lot of people that quit Slayer when the new gender locked classes came about would be pleasantly surprised how well they burst now. It's really satisfying to do with a Mystic. Between crit rate buff and their long stun you can get an Overpower-->Heart stab-->Over hand slash-->Eviscerate-->OHS-->Measured strike in and have the back for a Stunning backhand and another OHS (if your glyph works) if you time it right. Nagas and Hydraths on IoD start the fight off at around 25-40% health depending on crits - before they even get an attack in. I couldn't do that before the Ninja patch. The correct Crystals, +12 weapon, Greater campfire buffs and onslaught scrolls couldn't even help me come close to duplicating the damage I can do now.

The boosts for Slayers came closer to Brawler release, nothing notable was added for Slayers during NInjas patch. As long as you had +200 crit factor on slayer, you were a beast.

    Same skill and gear
    1. Ninja - easiest. most dps. best survive. Far best than any other dps.
    2. brawler - well, we got less tank
    3. gunner and reaper- still much better than another dps
    4. slayer.
    5. zerker
    6. war, sorc, archer - backcrit chance depends on luck too much. Sometimes is good, sometimes is just white damage. war just needs to get dmg buff later.

    Ninja> Brawler >>>>>>>>>>>Gun,Reaper >> Slayer>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> zerker >>>>>>>>>> war, sorc, archer
People don't even buy +15 War and Sorc VM in market.
