Should be Pounding, Anything under +250 Should be Forceful.
Lets say you're in HH, Forceful is useless due to the turning it may be useful late on in phases but Pounding is a garunteed dps increase since its just a DPS Increase on a monster, not a DPS Increase VIA Back crit.
I think the higher crit factor you have means the less power you have, the less power you have means the more valuable the +20 power from forceful is. So if anything I think you got it backwards
forcelutness depend from crits for behind ( like biter and savage niveots ) and the crit factor and power dont afected in sames ways all clases,
in sorcer dont matters you have 50+290, sometimes you dont crit any shet, but is more usefull forceluntes ( pouding is for bosses who im cant hit for behind all time )
in berszeker forcefull is bad idea, same for valkirye and reapers ( since new class are no crit dependents )
eseential mana guide say is base +60, but im use base +52 im dont cirt with a , moon skill ? xd
The only reason I ever have more crit than +31(Have no idea how I got that) is 'cause I always use battle solutions/bravery pots in dgs
is for rolls in jeweryes, gaunlets and if you use ken visrks , nostrum/potions dont gave crit stats, only power
(newtotalpower + 100)/(oldtotalpower + 100). Convert to %.
DPS gain from %damage change is:
(newtotal%dmg)/(oldtotal%dmg)
Forceful is 21-22 Power. GShout is 30% base power. Shakan is 25 Power. Estars is 48. Titanic Wrath is 40. Nostrum adds some too.
%damage comes from 6% lines, 6.9% behind lines, 9.3% enraged damage lines, 3% VM glove damage lines, and Pounding (8.1%-8.5%). Bravery/Canephora and Arush might also stack.
Do the math depending on your stats.
Your crit doesn't affect whether you use Pounding or Forceful.
you need hit crit behind for forcelutness aplyes .......................
in my case im see power is beter when you dont mixed crit/power
im have 50+288 crit factor and im tested doble broching tecnicque with quaterfoil + quickave + forcelutnes + pouding +nostrum ( because in dungeon you maybe have buff from priest or mistic auras )
the +30 power buff from quaterfoil broch gave you +500k damage for each shepere from arcane pulse ( under mana boost) and 1 m more from last hit in meteor strike
sad, crit glyp from meteor strike dont work like keen glyp in ligting strikes ( lighting strikes crits more often instead meteor )
pouding is more when you crit enough without craving niveot ( and you add buff power from priest and mistic )
Every class should easily crit once every 10s.
no all time, in dungeons you need do mecanics , and sometimes you lose the buff because sometimes you dont hit crit behind after buff ends.....................
It is valid that Forceful doesn't apply to the hit that applies the buff, but if you're not critting it won't do any damage anyway so that doesn't matter.
Still, the DPS gain is assuming you're hitting a sandbag and theorycrafting things like gear should almost always be based around sandbags since bosses are always different.
