    Idea: to be able to see and edit the hosts file, try to enable the "show hidden files and folders" option. just in case

    I just wanna put my 2cents in, considering it WILL get ignored by the GM's and WILL get pushed to ''ISP'' Issues since you guys dont listen very well.

    But up till Now, When i try to even load the game itself, It says your SERVERS are offline,
    Im not going to waste my time with what you guys say cause as of last night i was able to play perfectly fine?
    I wake up now and cant play?

    For what it's worth, I tried logging in just now and everything's working here, so I'm not sure why they are not showing as online for you.

    C: I dont understand it either, but i have got a solid 130ms INCREASE In my australian '40' Ms ping.
    This makes no sense.

    I understand that some people dont feel the effects, But this is completely weird for starters and a massive joke, just find a completely new host who will do good to the players of tera.

    Okay, yeah, thanks for the address. Most likely that workaround would do it (since I think you have the very same problem), but there's something that isn't working. I'd try checking one more time that it's the right file (hosts not hosts.txt) in the right folder, and the IP address you add to the file is 206.248.168.162, and also make sure that you start Notepad as Administrator (or else it won't let you save to the right folder). Otherwise, I guess it's possible something is blocking your edits to the file, like antivirus or anti-malware software.

    Okay, I don't know if it will matter, but try removing the space/tab before the line, so that it's like the McAfee line underneath it. Second thing would be to try temporarily disabling McAfee (should be an icon in your taskbar) just in case it is blocking the edit.

    Okay, sorry - there must be some other reason why the change isn't taking effect, but from this point of view I don't know what it might be. If you're able to test/try a VPN, that might be another way to workaround the problem. Otherwise, hopefully EME will fix it.
