2 talisman is not guaranteed, sometime 1 drops 1, and i have runs that there is 0 drop, and everyone is alive when the boss is dead....
yeah i think its fine also.
People are against it because with talismans dropping in other dungeons aside from the current hardest dungeon VSHM, it makes said dungeon not even worth running, especially given the fact that the only reason to run VSHM is for VM materials due to it not dropping anything else.
If you're a newbie to this game and cannot run VSHM then acquiring best in slot VM9 gear shouldn't be a priority, you should be focused on clearing content and learning your class more right now and THEN work on clearing VSHM to acquire talismans to craft your gear. I'm not saying I don't want you to ever acquire the gear, heck more people with gear + skill to do the endgame dungeons would result in more groups running it, I'm just saying it's a process and this event will just enable people to acquire the gear without putting in the effort as well as killing this patch's endgame even more.
im curious how you think that when the designs are still 300k+ gold per. unless you play the broker getting one of these just isnt feasible even if all the mats were free and guaranteed.
Like I said, its just going be 1 talisman with abysmal drop rate. I wouldn't be surprised if I see 0 talismans drop after 10 runs. VSHM no doubt will still be much better if anyone wants to acquire talismans or other VM mats.

I wonder how all the other people bypassed that bottleneck without a TS event and you were the only one left at it...
From past experience with dungeon highlight during anniversary event. I did lots of abscess runs and got only like 2 masks , rest of the time bonus drops were either feedstock or candy (mostly candy lol). This time I am sure its pretty much going to be same with TSNM dropping feedstock most of the time.
What is other way to acquire talismans right now then? I am a new player ; not someone who has been playing for months and has stored enough mats/money or someone who can swipe and acquire vm9 in a day (have a friend who literally did just that). I cannot do vshm because it needs +15 blah blah. Lakan's treasure chests have low chance to drop them and I am not rich enough to buy 200 chests either. So if there is some other way to acquire talismans then please tell me because honestly I would like to know it as well (and don't say BG jackpot please).
Pretty sure me and others have told you to find a guild that'll let you run whatever content you want without needing a +15.

Because if you want loot 'exclusive' to the hardest content in the game, you should be running the hardest content in the game. That should not be difficult to understand.
There is only 1 reason left to run VSH - achievments
Nothing except for the fact that every lfg doing VSHM on my server accepts only +15 dps. Tell those people to accept a +12 dps and I will gladly learn VSHM
