Paid service Race changer
First off Let me say I have bought these many times over my almost 4 years playtime in Tera. First few years no problems. This year definitely problems due to my paid service being ignored because
"Unfortunately, there's been an excessive number of race change costume exchanges from your account recently and we are not going to be able to keep offering this courtesy of exchanging costumes."
Well let me explain what excessive means per my current tickets within the past 2 months.
I had 2 race change tickets closed over a month back when Management decided to close all tickets.
I then opened new ones per their response as I needed the already done deed stuff. that took about 4-6 weeks for those 2.
(These were standard please change my clothing from 1 race to another and please update my emotes)
I recently opened a new ticket a couple weeks ago for a race change I did on another character and had a couple emotes sent to my female character because I went male.
It was offered per their template:
"Greetings,
I would be happy to exchange your costumes for the equivalents for your new race. Most costumes will have some sort of equivalent, but if a costume can't be exchanged then we may be able to move it to another character.
Please provide the costume information in the following format:
Character Name:
Server:
New Race:
Costumes:
1.
2.
3.
Etc...
Also, please place all of the costumes next to each other in your bank. This will make it much easier for me to remove and exchange them.
Regards,"
I will not name any names as this is counterproductive.
That ticket was taken care of no issues.
Which leads me to my current and final race change which was answered at the top.
"As excessive number of race changes."
"They didn't even race change the outfits that had equivalents to my new race. That alone would have kept me from being upset."
I guess buying a $30 item and asking for the service offered 4 times in over a year is too much.
$120 to just swap outfits doesn't seem that bad of a deal for either party.
I love the game
I love most of the community
I love everyone supporting the game because we keep this game going.
I am salty/bitter/whatever you wish to say.
But why would you close a ticket out on your side and pretty much give your paying customers the finger.
I was not rude to the customer service person, they know of my irl issues, even my caretaker has spoken to them.
I don't want everything handed to me
I don't want to be a special snowflake
I just want what I paid for whether in game currency or out of my wallet as we all do both when we can afford it.
I will keep it on a positive note as to hoping in the future this is more or less of a warning "IF" you use race changers frequently.
I may return to Tera again but think after nearly 4 years and this service will lead me elsewhere.
Thanks for all or none who read this.
Keep loving Tera! I will miss you all.

Buy outfits instead for alts or something.
if EME is too lazy to do something as painfully simple as switch costumes over then they should remove the race change vouchers from the shop altogether, they don't deserve the revenue from them. especially considering how stupidly expensive they are, it's disgusting.
i'm starting to believe EME literally hires people right off the street
And yes no point in buying their paid service to swap races, had my characters been less than 2-3 years old and had anything less than a diamond laurel I would have never swapped them in the first place. Would have just rerolled lol.
