Warriors crystals (Forceful or pouding)

Hi guys,
i started to play my 65 warrior today and i have a serious question after reading in some foruns and guides
Warrior only use forceful if power is lower than 260, and after that you go for pouding or this is a myth ?!

forcelutnees niveot buff power +20 for 10 seconds ( and sometimes 21), but power dont affected the same way dps clases
they are more designed for pvp , but people who tested efect say they do same damage like pouding in pve,but forcelutness is better when the boss are enraged.

the only dissapoint is you need crit for behind ( like bitter or savage niveot ) for this effect applyes, and pouding aplies dont matter whwre you hit.

The reason why Warriors don't use Forceful is because it values less the higher your Power is. A simple explanation would be:

Given you have an arbitrary value of Power, say 500 Power:
    - Pounding will give you an 8.1% increase, which would give you a total of 540.5 Power.
    - Forceful will give you 20 Power, which would give you a total of 520 Power.

Using this, a value of 260 Power will more or less equate Pounding and Forceful; exceeding this value will make Pounding better since it increases by percentage.

Warriors' current optimal build (and the way Priest/Mystic buffs provide you generous amounts of Power stat) gives you a lot of base Power to work on, that Pounding will always prove superior.
  • I see, thanks a lot :D

So if my power is below 250, i have to use forceful ?! :x
  • At warrior functional stats pounding will be superior in all realistic circumstances.
  • Lest just say if i'm running solo or with a priest, i dont have enought crit to put full power, so my power dont get above 250... In this case, i should use forceful or keep using pouding ?!
  • I mean, if you can keep the buff up all the time, +20 power is always better than a 8% dmg...

Always ? :O everyday a person say something different, i think i'm getting confused
  • No. Never run forceful on a warrior, y'all already have so much power. There are some good warrior guides online and as far as I know they all say to avoid forceful too. Forceful is really only optimal for classes that go ALL crit and have no power whatsoever (this is why you usually see it on classes like Reaper or Sorc, yet you die inside if you see it on Gunner or Valk)

forcefull is more pvp oriented, because they aplyes to all (pve/pvp ) if you hit crit from behind ( like cs Gates )

in pve +20(21) power buff from them, is almost same like pouding (8.1% flat damage or 8.5% if are dyad niveot ), when you have too high power stat ( like +250 with priest/nostrum/mistake buff ) , forcefull is less efective vs pouding. and you need crit for behind for forcefull applyes ( same savage/bitter niveot )

example, in sorceres im find more usefull forcefull since im focused in crit set, and they buff more damage from skills ( vs puding)
but for somes bosses ( like lakan or darkan ) is more reliable pouding , since you need move a lot and no all time im hit from behind

If we had official DPS meter, we could see the result w/o making threads. Sigh.

Warriors have a low crit cap due to Scythe's triple crit glyph, so you end up building power via accessories. Forceful is a flat increase, and scales worse the more power you have before its effects apply; pounding is better for warriors.
  • Pounding is better for more than 1 reason.
