Conflate is weak
Did weapon testing with conflate fists today. Outdamaged in every skill by tensus +15 fists. Any reason why this new pvp gear is worse than the one two patches ago?

However with other dps it's 20% increased pvp dmg so it's pretty good.
Conflate in PVP is ok, but kinda sucks in PVE, barely on par with Slaughter.
I thought the rolls would be universal like Slaughter and Starfall based on the info I read before patch, I don't get why there's so much grind for this gear (just slightly easier than Starfall imo) and it's PVP only, should've been hybrid...
Brawler gets only 6% pvp dmg line on weapon heh, it's 20% for gunner...
They should have just added the bonus to the chest, but also kept it on the boots.
Conflate damage.
Tensus +15
I repeat, once the Conflate weapon has 0.3 CT power roll then it can surpass my tensus, but only by 1603 points using the same skill. That's not much of an upgrade if you ask me considering Conflate has over 10k more base attack (MW 3%) than the Tensus, plus you lose 14 CT factor and AS 9%. I even dare to say, Starfall gun is not better than my Tensus neither, would have to see some pics to convince myself is not like that.
Oh btw, Conflate is indeed better if for any reason you miss backcrits, there was almost a 5k damage difference using my Arcane barrage hitting from the front. Still, i feel
If you add up the numbers, your Conflate gets +26% PvP damage, +6% damage, and +6.9% damage from behind.
Your tensus gets +12% PvP damage, +14 PvP attack, and +13.8% PvP damage from behind.
We don't know exactly what % PvP attack is, but let's just say 7-10% for the sake of argument. That means that Conflate gets a total of +38.9% PvP damage. The tensus gets a total of +32.8-35.8% PvP damage.
But the base damage of Conflate is significantly higher.
This means that the extra power, and perhaps other factors, are making the difference, and not the weapon stats itself. Conflate IS better, period. The problem is with your test, and/or the extra power from etching.
Think you should use crit power over attack speed.
Because it takes a while to fix pvp gear. There was a lot of outrage about how +15 broke pvp. The only way to correct this is implement gear that performs equally as well as what already exists from prior patches (or only -slightly- better if you make eg. VM7), until eventually all the past gear is equal to what is currently easily available. Only once all gear performs approximately evenly in pvp, whether it's +15 VM or +12 mid-tier pvp gear, will pvp be 'fixed' back to what it was before +15 was introduced. Asking for BHS to continue introducing gear that drastically outperforms older gear every patch would only perpetuate the problems they introduced with a poorly-made decision.
