What't the point on joining on progress? RNG boxes?

What's the point to join matches on progress, most of the time people lose. We use to get reward with 1k bc/ks points when we join a match on progress but now we don't even get anything for joining those traps. It be easier to just remove the in-progress prompt if you trying to Q for a match.

I hate this new RNG Loot boxes, I hate this damn 3 t11 fking feedstock for win or 1 damn potion. Before, a win or lose we get credits and we buy things we wanted but now this RNG is just spit on the face. I could play 2 hours of fraywind and end up with fking 21 tier 11 feed stock and a few fking potions. While I could do bams and earn way more than bg's. Don't talk about the power hour rewards, that just a small band aid for the huge problem, which is the bad reward system for doing bg's.

    This is true. The new rewards are discouraging. I think they havent tried grinding how many hours of doing battleground. It's not easy to win when people don't coordinate. Others use PVE crystals, hardy. wow. And when you finally won, you'll get a "REJUVENATING POTION". After how many rounds. You got a potion. Sadlife. but they promote RNG, we can't do anything about it.

    It's fun and at worst you get a loser token. 50% of the time I lose joining inprog and I do it all the time, not so bad.

    Well, I usually join in progress if it shows up. Maybe I've been getting lucky, but I'm probably getting about a 50-50 win rate with in progress. I've even gotten a few tailsmen from in progress wins. If its a winning group, either someone was kicked or afk'd at the start and you'll join towards the beginning. If its a losing group, its most likely towards the end of the match, and you'll only be waiting a minute or 2 before "da feet" anyway...then there is no cool-down, so.. really... why not join an in progress? The only downside is that in FWC for example, its harder to get to the top of the contribution list (for 4x chest) when you join in progress.

    As far as the rewards go, they are probably better now than ever to be honest. I've gotten enough tailsmen and badges to make both weapon and chest. Try doing that in any other patch a month or 2 in with PVP alone? It would be a no-go.

    CS needs 5 tickets to make a box. You get 2 tickets per win/lose and you would be surprised by how many people leave with 30 seconds remaining.
    Personally when I join in prog battlegrounds, there is about 20 seconds to 1 minute of the round left and I would happily pick up the rewards. 1/5 times from experience the game actually isn't over and in fact the entire situation favors your team. People just sometimes d/c and get kicked or rage quits too early.

    PS: I use alts when I'm doing this cuz ratings :awesome:
