Harrowhold Release
Gameforge just announced their Harrowhold release date as July 4th, or rather "the first week of July" which we can easily assume that will be July 4th.
This is not good, not good whatsoever. A week is not enough time to rally the troops and get everyone up to speed and be able to figure out who all is going to be able to come to raid on the day we set. Harrowhold is not just another dungeon, it is a dungeon that requires the most coordination out of anything that has ever been in the game. It is not something you can just lazily announce a few days beforehand, that is how you will make the community mad.
As someone who will be leading over 140 people and managing each individual raid, please announce the release date as soon as humanly possible. The very real problem is that people need to sort out real life things before Harrowhold, people need to figure out what's going on that day, and people need to make sure they do not make plans for the day of release. Some people may even need to call off work. Now if they make plans on the day of release, or people who are unable to call off work unless it's a week in advance, they get screwed.
So please En Masse, be considerate of the people who live normal lives outside of TERA, let us be able to accurately plan our day one raids, and give us better timing of when this patch will come out.

just run it at a later date then if it comes out and you're not ready???????
Yeah, it totally works like that. We can just lfg and clear HH no need to gather the best people in the best gear and form statics or semi statics to even come close to clearing and training.
If you are not ready you can join any time later... NOT, either you start clearing and doing it on the first week or you are forever alone in this region
Have you ever considered it's not how late you try to do a dungeon, it's just...nobody likes you?
Have you tried to learn HH late in the patch?
I helped many learn p1, who later tried but all failed to find a raid and we didn't welcome them either as we had our own pool of ppl already running with us, so tell me your super story, how you found a raid which you could learn HH with late in the patch... I'm waiting.
Oh, I actually have no life. However, my bestie came back to Tera 4 months into the patch. Boy is rocking a marrow brooch and 10 clears. Cause he's a really cool dude and nobody had a problem taking him, even that late into the patch. During one of the last raids, I got murdered by a 1st time tank who took a resu during meteors(I like reminding him of that). Plenty of other people came in late and got clears because, well, my guild and its raids tend to be filled with decent people. Something you clearly wouldn't understand. When we'd get too many people, we'd just form another raid. It's really not that hard when you are not a donkeyhole.
And when my guild was helping people, we made sure we helped them all the way. My bestie came back to Tera 4 months into the patch. Boy is rocking a marrow brooch and 10 clears now. You see, when the raid and the newbies are not donkeyholes, it's not a problem to make it work. Something you'd clearly be unfamiliar with if all you helped with was p1. We, on the other hand, created additional raids to accommodate late comers instead of telling them to suck it.
