  • if u arent personally organizing a hh raid just stfu please @ElinUsagi because your unrealistic comments add no value to the discussion lol.

what do you mean when you say the raid organizers should know their raid members' schedules? people might've gotten a new job, started college, moved states, working on major project etc that may change their schedule. things change.

Sounds to me like you want to do all the planning for 3-4 full raids with just 4 days notice.
Please be our guest and plan all of that. Talk with all 60-80 people to see what time/day works for them just days beforehand.

    @Tewwi

You and your friends already know that July is the month for HH20, if EME makes the anouncemente 4 days before we get HH20 patch I asure you that you will lost at most 1 or 2 weeks, something that I don't think could hurt you as much as you say.

Read my post again, I said that new HH wouln't be as hard to coordinate the people needed as the previous, if you think that you will get that much problem then that means your raids are no more and most of those players don't play anymore.

However if you had keep in touch with those players then organizating the raids won't take the same time as the first time. You should already know what days most of them can play and also what is the best time in those days.

Well, that is if you already cared to keep on touch with them.

It's actually alot harder going from 30man into a 20man. If it was just HH30 sure would be alot easier. You also don't seem to know the difficulty changes either.
Because now wwe have to decide what DPS get cut from the raid.
And with no real extra mystics or tanks being dropped either It's kinda going well it sucks to suck but you wont be included for awhile.

If we were just doing one single raid, Okay yeah it would be no problem. But we're talking many different raids across different days with unique people in each raid.

So, you knew for advance (5 months ago) that we will get another HH aroung these days and you never cared to get in touch with your raid members or never talked about the changes HH20 will have?

That looks pretty unnorganized if you ask me, and here we are talking about something most people that run HH already knew. So then again, everyone left things for the last minute not only EME for I can see, and if you have all that hard times to organize a group of players over the internet I can imagine you in a job were you have to organize and coordinate people in diferent places around the country to get things done. LoL.

Really, I won't believe that those "most dedicated" or "hardcore" players never talked about this in the discord groups every raid had. And again, you are making a ruckus for something that won't hurt you anyway, koreas has even less time to prepare for the new content becuase they can't look to another region to see what's coming on.

NA new several months ago about these changes and the probable date to get the new HH20. You will still cry for something you never cared to make preparations in advance even when you knew about it xD.

What is so hard for you to understand? We are in touch with those people, we have them collected(which is how he knows how many of them there are and how many raids we can start with) but asking somebody "Are you available whenever in July?" is a bloody stupid question that no person with a shred of real life can answer. The point of this topic is that people need time to make plans. You can choose your vacation dates, moving dates, work shifts but you cannot do that 4 days in advance. And not everyone is so no-life that they literally have 0 plans for a whole month and can raid whenever.

Also, I really don't care about who has it worse. And neither do you. Otherwise you'd be going to various topics and telling people not to ask for semi's because EU has them for 1k and stuff. But you don't. So, sit down and be quiet. You can stand up and talk again when you have 80 people and counting signed up and waiting on you to organise them.

In the real world you're given alot more then 4 days like you said in an earlier post to organize 80 people and plan for them.
We have discusses the changes, We have planned accordingly.
We have talked to people when they're free and they're not free.
All we're asking for is ample time on the release date so people with real lives can plan for it, make changes in their lives to make room..or so we can organize around it.
Going to them now and saying hey are you all free friday at 10pm? They'll tell me no it's too short of notice.
How about next week at friday 10pm? Well we don't know, but we can make time to be free then.

Being unorganized? We have our raid lists done, who's gonna be in which raid. All we need is a date so we can plan a time for each raid and what days of the week they'll run. I'd like to give them more then a few days notice so we can actually be more organized. Then rushing around in a few days time to squeeze what we can.

We are not talking about preparing for the challenges, not talking about preparing for the changes, not talking about preparing for who wants to go or who doesn't want to go.

It's simply asking for ample time for people to prepare their lives to be able to go.
You're so truly misunderstanding the point of it.

Sorry my real life job involves more than 20 bussiness and a little more than a thousand person to be worried about a raid on a game for 20 people to get some fun.

Sometimes here you cant slept and you get to organize people in less than half a day or even less time when something is changed abruptly for the autorities or another issue that is out of your hands (accidents that can be provoqued for customers or even a third party workers from another company).

Sad to know you are drowning in a glass of water.
    snip

Well, gamers life is a little bit to rought, being the first is almost anything for them... ok, nvm, you already have the reason to complain as this kind of topic has been a common thing since several years ago and EME hasn't done improvements to give players info about what's coming next.

If the thread is about that, well, yeah, EME hasn't show any signs to improve the comunication to the players about new things that are going to be implemented in-game (content, events, etc) but I don't think is something to be so melodramatic as some people are in this thread.

Only one thing I won't agree with you and is the first. In real life you will have to convince autorities to obtain permits to move mining machinery throught one thousand miles of roads while you machinery to get that stuff over 3 low bed trailer that will travel in besides each other at the same pace, (...) get machinery to log out trees, machinery to level ground and people controling the traffic, (...) I can continue with this becuase You won't imagine when the biggest mine company in latinamerica ask you to move their things when they arrived late to their maritime customes.

Sometimes you have to get things done and you will need to get your people coordinated trought half the country to do that on time. It just will surprise you when you get to do something like that.

Well, anyway, good luck with your and tewii complain about this, even as reasonable as it is I don't think it will change anything at all. For the things that we had so far I expect to have HH20 at July 11th and the anounce at July 7th and if next friday we don't have an official anouncement... well, the next week will be quite lively on the forums.

One tiny difference: This is you job, it's the thing you get paid to do. We don't get paid to organise raids, it's not our livelyhood and we should not be expected to quit our jobs or abandon our families in order to do it. When it's your job, you are generally available for it so short notice works because you still had to work that day.

That's a very strong argument. I'm not sure how I could ever counter "I don't know what I'm talking about, I just want to up my post count".

What I don't get..You said this is a reasonable request, almost seemingly agree with it aswell.
Why are you fighting it so hard?
...Mean if you think is reasonable and agree..Why the fights? Why not just say "Oh hey yeah, This would be nice. Hopefully it goes that way" and call it a day.

Because as you said, I missed the point of the thread and you make it clear, fighting with you... nope, to the contrary i am acknowledging what you have pointed out.

Even if I can't understand why some people are so worked up and stressed over a set time about this content, I won't deny that EME hasn't improved they way to get things know to the players in advance. And it would be really good to have improvements in that area at least.

This problem so far has always existed here since 4 years or more, sometimes you get to see as if they want to correct this but then again they forget about small promises.

Nothing that can be done when they have that amount of changes on staff in this short time. Almost remind me of Riot LAN, the worst staff that I have ever seen in a game comunity.
