what do you mean you were rejected for being +12, did they explicitly tell you that? Very doubtful about that.

seems to me that no one likes you.

Isn't it obvious? I was rejected because I was in +12 misery.

A guild mate of mine was in a party and they were 1 dps short so my guild mate said 'dps needed for ts' in guild chat. I applied and got rejected. When I asked why in guild chat , my guild mate said 'sorry the leader only wants +15 dps'. Nobody in that party except my guild mate even knew me so , I am doubtful about any prejudice here. Are things more clear now?

Again, if you have friends and a guild... just get together and run vshm. If you already have 3-4 people, finding one extra won't be that difficult

Thought I might leave this here to make it clear on how it feels to play during non-peak times. Enjoy your game ;)

    1. I'm appalled that you have your quest UI open, clean that screen up!

    2. I see a vshm lfg that needs a dps, should have applied :p

We actually did that and tried to do vshm few days back. One of us quit after wiping at darkan. We got another +15 dps who also quit following the next wipe. Then we got another +15 dps and managed to defeat darkan. Then we proceeded to dakuryon fight. Things did not exactly go our way and we wiped at dakuryon 2 times , both the times he was under 15% hp. It was decided that the root of all the problems was lack of dps and who is to blame for that? Of course that trash +12 misery dps! Guess what happened next? I don't think I need to tell that.

I was doing fine in that fight. Pretty much same amount of deaths as everybody else and yet I was the one who got blamed but nobody pointed fingers at the tank who died , lost aggro , did bad dps himself. Nobody pointed fingers at that +15 dps who died more than me and did pretty much same dps as me. Well .. I had a little falling out with my 'friends' after that vshm. I have given up on vshm now actually. Will just wait till it gets nerfed.

Sorry that was just an iod/bg alt so things aren't exactly clean.

    Tried...... :(

Damn my first reply got deleted so I will post again.

We tried running vshm together few days back , actually we tried it 2-3 times but I will tell you about our last experience of the dungeon. We took 2 people with us. We wiped on darkan 2-3 times which led to those other 2 guys quitting our party. We replaced them with other +15 guys, out of which one also quit later. We managed to clear darkan and proceeded to dakuryon fight. We wiped on dakuryon 2 times. Both the times he had less than 15% HP remaining. Guess who got blamed for all this mess? Yeah that trash +12 misery dps! Don't think I need to tell you what happened afterwards , do I?

Everybody comfortably ignored the fact that everyone (including me) was doing bad but I was the one who had to take all the blame for that. Anyways, I had a little 'falling out' with my 'friends' after this incident. I have given up on doing vshm now. I will just wait till it gets nerfed and try it again.

yeah then I gotta agree with you, +15 only TS is pretty [filtered] stupid imho

As for prejudice when you don't know them, not really, I'd have to disagree. For me, I don't need to know you, if my guild and/or my friends tell me you're trap I take their word for it and simply won't run with you.

Whether you know them or not is irrelevant, if you trap others, word spreads fast and believe me everyone will know your name.

This is true, there are several people that I won't run with because of past experiences. The opposite is also true, if you do good in a run, you might get added to someone's list and start getting whispers inviting you to runs.

I don't know. I never trapped any TS party as such. I've cleared it over 30 times , obviously I am not trash dps there :3 Also , my guild mate told me explicitly that the only reason I was rejected was due to leader wanting only +15 dps.
  • clearing doesn't mean anything, considering all the trash with 'skilled' tag i've had the... pleasure of carrying. i dont doubt that you aren't a trap, but you'd need a meter to know for sure if you're pulling your weight or not.

Well I do not use a meter but last time I ran vsnm , someone in my party told me that my dps was 700k/s on lakan. This was with 1 death , courtesy to our lancer for suddenly dying and losing aggro and dying is a big dps loss for valks. I know its not exactly great dps but consider this - I was not using nocts or other consumable , I do not have qtf brooch or any of the crit power buff dragons. I might not be great but pretty sure I am not trap either :p

Nobody accepts +12 dps for HM dungeons , heck I've seen even +12 healers getting rejected so, you can figure it out yourself how things work. Finding learning runs is also very difficult. I've been trying to make learning lfg and learn VSHM (current hardest dg) since past week and I am still a sitting duck. Today I was rejected from a TSNM lfg for being +12 and TS is a mid tier dungeon of which I have over 30 runs under my belt. I might sound rude but I am being straightforward and honest about my personal experience since last month I began playing. If you wish to play go ahead .. good luck , just keep in mind that its going to be rough.

    Maybe it's just you

    It's not just them.

Thanks! Glad to see someone else speaking up on actual in-game situation as well.

You don't have to keep saying you ahve +12 Misery you know. It happens to everybody when they just start out and has no friends too. Gear check is a real thing, deal with it, just like irl. When people who don't know each other get together, gear is one of the two things that they can look at and guesstimate how experienced/old you are at the game. Best advice I can give is to buy yourself an Ambush weapon so that you can pass gearcheck easier, much much easier.
