Before I manage to derail another thread , let us not forget that this thread is not about me but about OP.

My healer is full guile and I get VSHM runs. It's less about the gear and more about the connections

ilvl for that dungeon is 429, don't you think something is not quite right?

I've run vshm with healers in guile. They were someone's alt that I know, so it happens. They just can't turn in the vanguard after the clear.

You guys whining about elitist should also place yourself into their shoes. When I make a lfg as a tank I have alot of +15 dps apply to my party with ease so my choices are clear why I do not accept +12 misery. Everyone wants faster and smoother clears. If you can't find a party to run with you, find a guild that will run with you.

Ful guile +12 with quatrefoil brooch, focus diadem, new inners and gods/heaven jewellery get you ilvl 428, you are 1 level under the requeriments to run it so those aren't full guile.

Edt: Sorry, you must be running with a static party. What I said only applies on IM.

You are a healer , I am not. Big difference. Show me a guile dps/tank getting into VSHM runs.

Well, this thread is about the OP and not about us and you just showed him why he will never find parties to do HM dungeons. This brings me to my point , starting out as new player is going to be rough for him, especially as he is playing from SEA timezone.

Dont by ambush u need a new guild

Yesh guild hopping in this game sucks and the REAL problem isnt getting skilled or learning tbe dungeon so what? Many majoriry of ppl dont play tera seriously its a casual mmo and not that hard. After u get skilled in thise types of guilds 2 things happen. A the assholes will now start asking u for runs or u will still end up pugging lfg just with other skilled pugs. At that point no reason to stay in a guild like that. Its a game you got nutin to prove

Healers being under geared isn't really new, because unless you pass a certain defense point you're still dying in a single hit anyways. The point in healers upgrading gear had mostly been to get Vanguard rewards. Either way, healers have generally been judged less both from a skill and a gear perspective especially when duo healers are involved. Fairly bad healers could easily get into HM runs if they knew a secondary healer that could basically solo heal. DPS and tanks don't really have that luxury.

Exactly , you are spot on. I was in a vshm run yesterday with 'friends'. We got wiped on darkan because at 20% our tank and other dps got swiped. Me and the healer were left alive , I tried to kill the boss but could only bring him down to 14% , it was difficult without a tank. Want to know who got kicked afterwards? Of course it was me cuuuz 'sry we need +15 dps boi'. The other dps was +15 which probably is why didn't kick him. This was not the first time such incident happened. It seems no matter , people just love to judge dps and blame the dps for their inability to stay alive.
