Ninja - Fire Avalanche - 2 or 3 consecutive executions
hi there, any ninjas out there having difficulties executing 3 consecutive fire avalanche? or can any helpful ninja help to explain how to execute 3 consecutive fire avalanche? currently, i can only manage 3 times successfully at times. But most of the time, when chi is full 1000/1000, after 2nd execution, at the 3rd one, it says chi is insufficient. My rotation is from essential mana: Fire Avalanche > Jagged Path > Fire Avalanche > Fire Avalanche.

I've noticed this a lot too actually. Most of the time I could only do two avalanches before it goes on cooldown even though I had max Chi. I just assumed that it was probably because of lag or whatever.
Along with the others in the thread, you cant triple fire avalanche outright. You have max 1000 chi, fire avalanche is 300/300/400. You need to use either attunement in between one of the hits, or jagged path after the first hit. You have 10 seconds from the first cast to finish the other two so do what you need to get the chi/boost the damage.

1000 max when 300 + 300 + 400 = 1000.
I would say something doesn't add up, but it clearly does. You sure you're maxing out your chi for Avalanche?
You should be using Attunement, cancelling it with Shadow Step and using FA1 -> Jagged Path -> FA2 -> FA3 anyways.
1st Cast: Activates a ten second timer before cooldown
2nd Cast: Renews the countdown but with only 5 seconds to be cast
3rd Cast: Activates true cooldown
I have never had to use any skills between casts to cast FA 3 times, you just have to use it within the cooldown. If you want the high numbers from a FA back crit there are two options.
1) Impact Bomb behind the mob after 1st cast if it knocked the mob/bam down (Very high probability on bams)
2) Decoy Jutsu and then cast
I use FA sometimes without trying to get behind just to give me breathing room or when my mana gets low to get some combo strikes in after the 3rd cast.
Edit: You can use Shadow Step as well to be quite honest but the two options I described add a bit of damage to your FAs

that makes no sense dude, i have no problems with that combo. i Start it at 1000 Chi (Full), hitting first FA strike, than Jagged Path > sometimes even Quickcarve Brooche> 2nd FA > 3rd FA. I hit Attonemnt AFTER and spam some insane fast Fireballs with alot critrate with Brooche Effect...
