EME want to deal with the Elin haters in the last moments and not half a year before arriving at our servers.
Also no mention of it being temporary, hype intensifies!
Really hope (and bet) it will be permanent. Well, it also has a lot of time to think through the idea in case it was indeed thought as temporary.

They're just a very loud minority. You can see on the infographic of 5th anniversary that Elins are the most played race (Castanic combined male + female beats by some low margin, separating genders Elin beats all by a mile), and just playing the game you can see that most that don't play them don't care, or dislike mildly.
Haters are always a very loud and annoying minority that just needs to get weeded out not pleased. They're not bringing anything positive after all.
I really don't see BHS and the localized distributors working to please haters
sorry bad exemple, after 5 years tera is not the same tera we knew, we have 2 exclu elin class, 3 new elin, dress for only elin and special dance for them, so we will never know if elin would be the most popular race after 5 years without all this boost for them
so the cutest elin we have with ninja patch help the elin to be so popular
The thing is that the exclusive classes are the least played. Literally only gunner is a popular exclusive class. Reaper barely showed up on the infographic, and Ninja was still yet to be seen too. Even if the infographic was wildly inaccurate on the elin active population, truth is you can never say haters are a significant portion. They're not what someone would want to please. There's way more commercial logic in pleasing something you can prove on statistics (that granted, can change from day to night depending on external changes, say, "We're fed up of only Elins getting cool stuff!!!"), than to just lose this market in benefit of who is not contributing to the community in anything.
dont forget than so many people stop to play tera, so i am not surprise if 90% of people who played the original 8 vanilla class stop to log in tera since at least one year, so with current player, new class player % are higher in player population
From Hate to Love there's just one step
the thing IS you can't judge a races popularity by a few classes like ninja or reaper. that would be like judging whether baraka are popular just by how many warrior or slayer baraka there are. elin are the most popular in korea and japan, where they primarily get their datasets, that was NOT true for the original launch of tera in the states>castanic females won that one the first year with elin close behind.
