The thing is that the exclusive classes are the least played. Literally only gunner is a popular exclusive class. Reaper barely showed up on the infographic, and Ninja was still yet to be seen too. Even if the infographic was wildly inaccurate on the elin active population, truth is you can never say haters are a significant portion. They're not what someone would want to please. There's way more commercial logic in pleasing something you can prove on statistics (that granted, can change from day to night depending on external changes, say, "We're fed up of only Elins getting cool stuff!!!"), than to just lose this market in benefit of who is not contributing to the community in anything.
wait. why do u dig so deep???

Eh it's just on the 5th anniversary infographic En Masse published

And the only official source of data that we have on all internet about the things are showed there.

Not like steam as other players want to stick to prove their point.

ElinLove elin gunner is temporary in ktera for two month exclusive for character creation we might end up getting the same thing if the elin haters are to bad xD

They're just a very loud minority. You can see on the infographic of 5th anniversary that Elins are the most played race (Castanic combined male + female beats by some low margin, separating genders Elin beats all by a mile), and just playing the game you can see that most that don't play them don't care, or dislike mildly.

Haters are always a very loud and annoying minority that just needs to get weeded out not pleased. They're not bringing anything positive after all.
I really don't see BHS and the localized distributors working to please haters

sorry bad exemple, after 5 years tera is not the same tera we knew, we have 2 exclu elin class, 3 new elin, dress for only elin and special dance for them, so we will never know if elin would be the most popular race after 5 years without all this boost for them

so the cutest elin we have with ninja patch help the elin to be so popular :3

the thing IS you can't judge a races popularity by a few classes like ninja or reaper. that would be like judging whether baraka are popular just by how many warrior or slayer baraka there are. elin are the most popular in korea and japan, where they primarily get their datasets, that was NOT true for the original launch of tera in the states>castanic females won that one the first year with elin close behind.

Castanic was only ahead if you included both genders, not just females.

But some people make it their mission to find if what they say is true or false. Should EME be in fact lying about the infographics, the storm that would unleash would be unstoppable, and that from a company pov, is not good.

You might as well add Popori to the Elin count.

Either way gender does matter, they have different models and cosmetic sales which ultimately determined this. Why else are there female Castanic classes but not males? The complaints aren't just about Elin, but female vs male count, meaning gender matters more than race.

I would also like to point out Female Castanic got more business attention (think of it as a main character to a story) than Elin, as Elins were the race BHS nor EME cared for (think of them as a nobody background character) yet still lost in popularity anyways. Elin only got attention from BHS after they realized they could half-[filtered] cosmetics for Elin and still make money anyways.

Why are you all still arguing/debating about the most popular race(s)?

I didn't think it was that important lol I just want my elin gunner

I'm all for another race for gunner....Yes popori would have been cute with gun slamming the ground and popori spinning on dodgeroll. I could possibly see why they added elin to gunner, they are letting the game die the best way " elin outfit micro transactions".

I'm still upset about eme customer support refusing to swap my swappable outfits all because I used 3 race changers on 3 separate characters and refused to swap the final ones outfits. This was done within a near 2 month time span, inbetween the great close tickets out and reopen new ones.

    ANYWAY

I know elin are "Female Popori" in the other regions. But I'd kill for an option of and actual Popori to have a female gender full animal! Imagine all the super cute popori in cute female outfits, accessories and double hair buns =^.^=

i'm all for the folk trying desperately to see this in a positive light, thinking maybe it means BHS will look into eventually opening the locked classes to all races, but......................... man the realistic part of me is just saying that BHS needs money for something idk improving PUBG prolly and they know they just gotta slam that elin button on tera and just wait for the cash flow to come in.

then you need to get people to play more MALES...which isn't going to happen, not in NA, not EU, and definitely not in jp or k-tera. so people can complain all they want, flog that dead horse ad infinitum nothing is going to change unless the player base preferences change. not BHS's fault nor eme or anyone else...purely player driven.
  • ScrapScrap ✭✭
hard to play males when females get so much more attention though :l and we're only getting deeper & deeper in that (blue*)hole as we go.

    * I had to make the joke & I am not sorry
  • edited July 2017
Lol, just read a post where someone said its the player's fault. Wait a second....

So you expect not to play the new classes they release, or buy new outfits because that's the only ones they come out with then tell us that it's the player's fault for not having an option between male and female. We're literally forced to be a female, I don't want to hear the excuse,

*You guys playing females are the reason behind this*
well maybe if they stop releasing female classes and release males as well then we wouldn't all be forced to play every new class as a female and give them rigged statistics that people play females more than males.
