You'd be surprised at the number of people now not bothering to come just because the loot table is lackluster
As you can see, the bulk of the value were from the Superior Etching Packs. This wasn't even counting things like Caprin Horns.
I don't have absolute confirmation of the drop table of the new HH20 Battle Packs (only partial reports from EU), but based off just some of simple guesstimations, HH20 will be not even half as profitable as HH30 was. And this is based on that fact that Lakan's Treasure Chests and Follower's Supply Crates remain at a higher price; once those fall to low prices like Lakelith and Lilith chests did, the value of Harrowhold (20-man) will plummet. The potential to earn a lot is there, with the possibility to get a Royal Dragon mount drop and innerwears, but those are so rare that they're basically lottery hail mary's. Basically, HH20 profits are less than half of HH30 profits, at least on a consistent level.
We'll have to see exactly the drop rates of items like Vergo chests, Royal dragons, and innerwears, but this is a bit disappointing for a dungeon that takes such effort and coordination on a large-scale (compared to 5-man dungeons).
That actually adds insult to injury.
You'd be suprised how many people will stop bothering after finding out what the loot is like. There will be way more cases of people not coming anymore after they have their vm9.5. Before, in the 30 man raid, loot would motivate you. Now there is literally no point at all to continue after you get VM9.5.
Once you cleared 4 or 5 times, dungeons go into "farm mode" were you run it just for proffit, bc there is no challenge. This game has like what, 2 mayor patches each year, so its 6 months of clearing the SAME dungeon. We dont have any source of competitive pve, and third party programs like dpsmeters are banned (kappa) so the only fun come from earning something. If you add to this, that every time u run the dungeon, you loose money (consumables are a thing), ppl will just stop playing. Every "great end game patch" was achieved by having proffitable end game dungeons.
but yea "run it for the lulz". i bet most of the ppl who says that are either extremely wealthy or just didnt run HH30 p4
Its also really sad that ppl have to reach this lvl of "explicity" bc devs dont have the slightest clue of what players are talking about. WE KNEW that etc boxes random dropped from HH, but it was random, like 1 box every 2 clears random. We were talking about the boxes that came inside the battle packs 3/4 which was guaranteed.
Also, dont say "wait for clear and findout" bc we already know about the loot, 100% sure it doesnt drop thanks to ppl who love this game (dk why tho) and gives us acurate patchnotes. We are just "playing as we are not sure" bc saying "put fking sup etch boxes back ffs, stop trying to kill your own game" is a bit rought.

Even after you made that thread and we understood NA Tera has it easier than any other regions, specially Ktera, still you see this, it is not even out, they haven't even cleared it once to see the loots.

Well, I would prefer that superior etchings boxes will drop in higher amounts at HH rather than they will be given free on super easy and casual manners.
In HH20, you got 2-3 Etching Boxes to roll for.
BHS sure knows how to kill off their game. As some said, make the dungeon harder and longer the reduce the reward.
