That would be a bit too much lmao but yea the place should be more rewarding. I just did a vshm and all that I got out of it was 1 talisman and 15 feedstock, minus the vg quest. It feels as if you don't need the mats, then the vg quest is more rewarding than the dungeon itself.
Except this patch you don't get any [Low Tier Boss Box] or [High Tier Boss Box], just more mats which can't be sold or traded, which results in a lot of potential gold per run simply being unobtainable.

And? They drop in Normal mode, just farm that and reserve VSHM for designs/mats. I doubt EME/BHS looks at the gold potential of dungeons and focuses more on the practicality of stuff. So, why would you need a RNG box that drops vm when you get the mats after clearing?

Because at the end it's still rng to even get a mat. I have had tons of runs where I didn't get any mat for spending 30-45 mins in the dungeon. Previous patch with RMHM you atleast got a box that you could sell and RMHM was also way easier. Why is it so hard to understand that you want to get atleast something to sell out of a dungeon that takes a [filtered] ton of time because of the buffed endurance and hp?
Because you can sell the box. Something you would've realised if you'd actually been thinking. Another thing you'd have realised is that reserving a dungeon for very exclusive(in terms of people who need them) items is a pretty bad idea overall because you are deliberately shrinking the pool of players interested in running it. But, well, killing VS HM has been the theme of this patch so one more reason not to run it is hardly a big deal.
I did say, "I doubt EME/BHS looks at the gold potential of dungeons." by logic, you wouldn't need the boxes as VM mats already drop from the dungeon, and a good amount at that. The point of top tier dungeons in TERA have always been for vm mats and they still are, as VSHM drops the most badges and talismans. Wither or not they were profitable or not was ever a topic of discussion but more of a supply and demand (like back in the day when quills were expensive af and hard to farm) ;/
Not to forget the amount of time it can take to arrange a vshm party can be as long as half an hour, and even with a good party you can always wipe in there. Mats are pretty much useless if you already have your vm9. Even the box prices have fallen low now that adding boxes probably won't change much at this point. Maybe buff vshm vg and increase fs/gold drop.
What?! That's, like, absolutely not true. VM mats have always been part of top dungeon but top dungeons have rarely been about VM mats alone(if ever, I'm a bit fuzzy on the AB HM drops). Quils weren't the only profitable thing you got from MC HM, you know. Or maybe you don't know....

To be run. I'd have thought that was pretty obvious. You know what happens when a dungeon only gives you 1 single thing? You stop running it once you have that thing or you never have a reason to run it if you are not interested in the thing as "fun" can only last for a certain amount of time when it comes to PvE. Wonder why Palomina was talking about VS HM LFGs that only accept VM9 and why that is a natural thing to happen in the current situation? The short answer is: VS HM is exactly what you think a top tier dungeon should be and that's bad.
And being profitable is gonna make the dungeon more worth it?
