    Right now, not really. Etchings can be good if you're lucky with the RNG, armour or weapon can get you a Quatrefoil and its components (the mats don't seem to sell anymore, though) and/or other brooches, and alchemy is dead.

    Not really. Even etching has mostly lost its value. I did it just to experience everything in the game, and I don't regret it, even though I took a bath on etchings. (When I started trying to craft Tier 3 perm etch, the type I was making sold for 200,000 gold. Now they are 50,000)

    In about half a year there are some large changes coming to the gearing system, which includes new things to craft.

    We'll see if that makes things better or worse.

    For me it's only worth it to pick up the etching quest in Kaitor and get max etching pretty quick. Bonus is at after finishing artisan test you also gain 100hp passive...may not seem like much but it could come in handy.

    I would prefer to craft my toons gear per server and maybe sell the extra as I go along but from what I understand this is not done in Tera?

    well the reason why I didn't say Kami is lying is this:

    Essential Mana -> Oils is iirc 5x profit guarenteed

    Scarab -> White Dendrite is anywhere from 0.5x to 5x returns. On average it is closer to 2x

    Ores to Ingots (VM mat) is about 1.2x returns. If it crits you get 3.6x instead.

    15k investment to 100k in one hour is thus quite plausible, although you probably will be unlikely to sell off the full 100k.
