    Plus pvp is way less repetitive.... never the same match.

    Take league of legends lol... same map for years and still the most popular game 8)

    Sometimes I don't understand how people can run the same thing over and over making it like thousand of times or hundred of thousand of times after 7 years and keep happily doing it.

    While here people doing the same thing 100 times gets bored and start to whine that there is nothing to do in the game.

    because it is pvp, so you alway have fun with that

    problem with tera it is often bhs work against their own game

    and anyway change dont alway mean it is good, sometime change can made it worse

    so when you have the good recipe be carefull when you want change this recipe, i see it with tera and starcraft 2 pvp

    Well, so far I noticed how this patch works.

    1. Get to 65 as fast as possible
    2. Get low gear or mid tier gear asap since everything is cheap as heck
    3. ask for VM mats from EME to get your VM gear
    4. get your titles, Lag and done title should be added tho
    5. AFK in HW to show off your +15
    6. Congrats you have completed all that Tera had to offer now go [filtered] to your Popo

    Or you could... participate in CU, participate in highlighted BGs, participate in GvG, clear HH, enjoying the new mid tier dungeons coming, duel in VO... even doing achievements ? lol , get in discord and chat with people while doing runs...

    I rarely am bored.. if you do exclusively PVE then ye... you remove a bunch of things to do.. but even getting VSHM title, you wont get that in 1 week :P

    All you said are repetitive stuff, aren't they? and achievements are not real content, are they? I don't deny what you say, but if they were a lot to do, we wouldn't eat dust in empty servers.

    Plays a mmo..complains its repetitive :thinking:
    Achievement hunting is content :p maybe not for you, but i sure spent alot of time grinding that champion laurel.

    I greatly agree with counterpoint about Tera needing a stronger gathering, professions system or something to do when you feel like playing alone.

    Have you played the game we had 3 years ago?

    OW PVP: DEAD
    Reason to do BG: DEAD
    Crafting: DEAD
    Alliance: DEAD
    PVP gear: DEAD
    PVP in general: DEAD
    Lubetown: DEAD
    Leveling PVP: DEAD
    Getting New dungeons/not rotated one/not old revamped boss: DEAD

    DEADER THAN ELVIS, I am afraid.

    i did play 3 years ago. Of course pvp is less present, but during highlight day, i almost get instant q into BGs and thats where i get most of my VM mats, my scales ( on alt i guess... ) and stuff to make my pvp accessories. Come play on FF, you get OW pvp every day 8) and CU is actually challenging.

    I do miss lumbertown, alliance, crafting maybe and pvp gear. Not leveling pvp tho lul and.. since like mchm we got new dungeons with only 1 new boss. I do not know alot of games that bring completely new dungeons every 6 months or so. I played GW2 and for like 2 years we got the same old trash dungeons to do ?
    I dont get people who still hangs on a game they clearly cant seem to find anything enjoyable.
    Like why are you still on Tera my dude?

    maybe because it is still free to play, and that people have a lot of time and money invested in a game that keeps removing content and replacing it with anything decent. bring back cs to low levels so they can have fun as well. maybe a 20-64, and then a 65 only.

    Well, that's all very personal (numbered relative to Minilee's quoted post, not the one before it):
    1 - ya I also don't do CU;
    2 - Highlighted BGs are kinda hit or miss, I for example kinda like FWC, love(d) CS, Kumasylum (R.I.P. please revive it), Kumas Royale is 65 locked now... You may get lucky one week/day (what is it now, weekly or daily? Been out of touch on these), and others not so much/at all;
    3 - small guilds always, mostly PVE ones too;
    4 - heh. No thanks, no gear, no "git gud" enough for it, I'm more like Vi, the "filthy casual" that doesn't bother with learning more mechanics than my car could teach me on practice by disassembling it up and tuning that 1 liter family driver to a drag strip monster, OR twitch reflexes under 180ms ping;
    5 - You mean the old ones coming back? Yep I'm all in for those, liked them and will likely run it again now, good point;
    6 - Not into duels, thanks for suggestion tho;
    7 - tried, not my thing but does bring some exploration (and sheer grind too) to the mix.

    So yes, I kinda agree there is stuff to do but can easily agree with the bored ones too. I'm one that got away from TERA for the while now mostly cause I got super pissed with the controller screw up instead of bored (+ other non-TERA related stuff) and didn't have the patience to play only Priest and some ranged DPS, but maybe I could even get over that with something like bringing Kumasylum back or the Lv 20-65 Kumas Royale, I really have fun with the BGs (in fact that, and Elins is what got me so hooked up on the game).

    i, too, was one of the folk who enjoyed kumasylum. despite how.......... nutty it was, it was fun. though only if you were playing the actual people, i never found the kumas fun... which was the source of one of its problems, people would just insta-drop if they got kumas team, and i don't blame them. but now we have a BG that's just all kumas zzzzzzzzzzzzz

    i didn't know kumas royale got 65 locked though, that's hilarious, know why i don't know? cause i haven't leveled an alt in awhile and 65's don't do kumas royale. no one wants to play it, it was just good for the HUGE exp gainz. that's just... idk.... BHS is so.......... so BHS.

    CS can be fun but mostly is difficult to stomach cause you get folk every other game who just glitch straight into the crystal room, and then i think about how EME banned a bunch of good people who didn't deserve it and yet those sorts of folk get off free. fat lot of good noesis did while he was here.

    FWC is still fun though if you got premades going up against premades and the games are close.

    Hold up- do you guys really miss Kumasylum for the game or do you guys miss the reward? because while i do enjoy it just for the game, most i've seen was veteran players yelling at new players to quit game and uninstall :o but then again i do agree that Kumasylum is no longer a content for the end-game community.

    game, before i did for reward, but after it is only for fun for both kuma :3

    the game itself was fun enough-- like i said as long as you were playing on the human team. still frustrating when players who didn't know what they were doing picked up the candy of course, but that's par for the course. what even was the reward for kumaslyum? a box right? like the sea chest?

    Game. I loved being a carrier and had all the strategies up my sleeve for all the (already known) patterns and our team's formations.
    I was that type that asked who was new at 1st and proceeded to warn small stuff, and explain all in case new people. Guess that's how I was since start on the game, knowing how much I sucked back then make me receptive to new people's mistakes it seems.

    Ardire I think you probably played Kumasylum near it's end, around Gunner patch then. Cause before it was like getting the fed. team you required some good carry, in both therms of the word. Literally you needed a friggin' pro to win at federation team during around Reaper patch times. Kumas were super OP strong and all.

    And yes the reward was boxes (+90G daily reward, back when EMP was 1:10): 1 win box daily + as many boxes as you got candies (so from 1 to 3, until they added +1 for Kumas team regardless of state). Candy boxes were cheaper and lower tier reward as expected.

    @ElinLove I was playing back when it first came out, been here that long unfortunately, I remember when things were heavily in the kumas favour, that being said I still didn't have fun playing as them, never have. Like there's no fun playing as a dumb BAM I'm sorry. Playing as your actual character, even if winning was hard, was still more fun and rewarding, just learning to use your skills in different ways. Near the end wasn't much fun at all, gunners melted the kumas and then with the 65 patch priest's pull made it not difficult at all. Even reapers made it too easy at times, they were able to kd chain the kumas like crazy... but idk, I remember the thrill of carrying the candy on my d-stance warrior, meeting archers who, although squishy af, were amazing carriers cause of their movement speed stance. etc etc

    like i said, learning new uses for your skills was most fun
  • allofspaceandtimeallofspaceandtime ✭✭✭✭✭
    so basically low levels don't have a bg to play in anymore? I guess the workers at the salt factory got their way again.

    I see, I thought you were at it's end cause by then it was when the stupid force disband thing started to happen. And yes, Gunners were kinda the 1st nail in the coffin, Lv 65 pull on Priest had to get nerfed a lot (it went to 2 min. CD) and all. Well, it's a BG with inherent balance issues when you team up 10 vs 3, but that was part of it's fun. And yes I agree that it was also more fun being federation team even during OP Kumas days.

    You also reminded me of the horror it was when Archers or Reapers picked the candy and went full feederino on it. Those good carry archers were an amazing breed in extinction, it was like super lucky to find one that WAS good.
