To all those saying vm mat events have reduced the worth of vshm - no they haven't. I did not attend vhnm event and wasn't around for the afk event (thus my previous grief over talismans).

The real problem here is that vshm drops untradeable mats, which have no monetary value. This means once you finish gearing up in vm9, there is basically no incentive to run vshm anymore. Heck, if you want only lakan's banners you are better off running vhhm than vshm since its faster, easier and more profitable to run. You can also run vsnm if you only want badges over vshm. So, the only exclusive thing for which you absolutely have to run vshm is talismans.

The hardest dungeon in the game shouldn't be there for only gearing up and shouldn't drop only untradeable mats.

I said it if you remember, I said if you miss events, specially VM mats events you are screwed, I don't deny from VSN to VSH, dungeons feel lackluster compare to run time and enduring the lag. But I ask for a hold up, because I know people in each server got many VM mats, enchanting mats. Let them spend theirs, let economy revive from them, then as I suggested, we tweak the loots.

So, big rewarding events hurt hard core players, I have said many many times, VSH event won't help the cause. we need a revival to those mistakes and then we balance the loot table/vanguard rewards and also tread carefully with future event's rewards.

wanting too much is something else.

We don't want too much lol we just want the hardest dungeon in-game to be at least as rewarding as mid-tier dungeons. In its current state running vshm is not even as rewarding as doing iod and iod is an easy tier content that literally anyone can do in guile whereas, for vshm you need a properly geared char.

Who decides what's "too much" though? You? Cause you sure seem to be trying to have that authority. Your arguments are never about the impact a certain thing would have on the economy, it's always "you whine, you want too much, we already have enough".

well, at early VM9 patch, everything was doped from VM mats to enchanting mats for awhile. Now they are reviving. It was something which was obvious, wasn't my saying.

I'm not sure what you are saying. How are VM mats reviving? And if you think enchant mats are reviving(going up in price) because of no events, you are mistaken. You've never once explained why you think something is "too much" and, no, it doesn't "go without saying" when people are obviously disagreeing with you and giving reasons to which you can only respond by calling them whiners.

Why do people say we are whining too much or we are spoiled because other regions have it much worse? Because someone else out there has it worse, your problem isnt even a problem? Using that logic, no Americans should ever complain about any social and political issues because there are countries out there that are much worse than US. And any americans complaining about anything are whiners? In other words, we are just perfect the way we are now because we have it much easier in general.

First of all, people in other regions "whine" too. Look at their forums.
Second, what you call "whining" is a way for players to raise awareness or voice concerns about issues and discuss them. Stop accusing people of whining because you don't agree with their complaints.

And stop comparing NA Tera with other regions. This is our version and it caters to us. It doesnt matter whether our game is 100x easier than other versions. If the majority of us agree that we have a problem, then we have a problem and we have the right to complain about it. As a business owner, I appreciate it my customers complain. They are giving me a chance to fix or improve my business. Another option for them is not say a word and simply stop doing business with me at all.

No, American shouldn't complain and whine too much, they have it easy, they use that logic to whine more. Criticizing is something, wanting too much is something else.

What is considered "easy" or "too much" without comparing to another region or the past; because someone else having far less than you doesn't mean you had it easy, just easier. Keep in mind even the Koreans are complaining about the grind now.

I am not against the complain about loots, I think it should be obvious by now. I am referring to events that ruined economy and grinding. I am saying, we had a large flow of VM mats, enchanting mats by introducing gearing patch, isn't it true? I am saying hold up, let it pass which is already passing then decide on loots, even gave suggestion. I gear up 15 to 20 chars each patch to mid gear, you think weak loot gonna help me?
  • I just don't understand.... If the majority are against you, how can you not see that you are wrong? Passionate about getting a point across that has nothing to do with the OP's original topic...
