Aaaaaa, what?! I assume there will be changes to how gems are distributed? Also, do you happen to have some screenshots of the new etching designs?

Gems will drop in dungeons and GG and PoP too, so after you got all your gear you can sell them for gold, its actually a nice idea.

It's actually laughable. They made a gold sink and then went ahead and doubled down on the gold generation. I wonder how that'd translate to NA though. Since Eu and Ltera(I htink?) have p2w Ghille and we don't. That can get awkward fast.

Not sure what point you are trying to make.

That 10.00% on the bottom means that promotion not even guaranteed success? I already see that this new system is even more cancerous than +15 was if it works like that (depending how fast we can get those materials but knowing BhS that will be a hell of a grind). Adding gems to the enchant system also makes little sense to me except to hinder older players as well.

This patch has given me reason to hoard enchanting materials again. I like the concept, I like how items can now be upgraded instead of being discarded, and I like how equipment gets EXP. Other from that, thank you for translating the KTERA patch notes! You do a wonderful job on it, and the people who helped you as well.

This patch would make the first page of my bank more colorful than it currently is... being filled with alkahest and feedstock since 2014. I guess I better go ahead and sell all my spellbind, MES, BES, NES and ID scrolls before it's too late... I guess my MWA too. Heh, I'm so excited.

Ooooh, I really like the new alchemy crafting designs, especially because of how much I love gems!

You would be correct on that assumption.

"승급 성공 확률" translates to "Chance/Probability of Success"

This means you have a 10% chance of it successfully becoming a Quatrefoil Brooch.

    Awesome. More RNG. /s
The current Quatrefoil grind is brutal if you make one yourself but at least you know you get one at the end of the road.

But u can get Profiency XP ( u see this gree 80k number?) the higher the number the higher the success chance.

SO in order to get these materials u still do dungeons and quest. every quest reward u with this XP. And if u fail u get +3% chance. There was one example of a piece with 50% base + 3% failure Bonus + 32% from profiency (and this bar wasnt even full... around 2/3) so in the end we get around 90% if we fill the bar. so i dont see the problem. Now u need to do dungeon and not ... yolo i just sell EMP and get BiS without run one dungeon. I like this

I thought you were able to craft it, but I was wrong.

So this case the base is 10% we'd get around 60% chance then? Its better but its still RNG and RNG is the cancer killing this game.
I'm all for the exp system being able to eliminate RNG 100% depending if we get a decent amount for quest/run.

It seems you can eliminate a large part of the RNG by grinding and playing a lot - most if not all[?] of the proficiency rewards seem to be tied into the vanguard quests system. So as you do your dailies, your equipment will get a higher and higher chance of improving to the next tier/enchantment level.

Yeah, but there's a cap on the proficiency bonus, so you're never at 100% on the first try (maybe you do get there after a few tries).
