I don't think you can IM queue in the middle of a dungeon you LFG for...
it'll count as another run
Anyway it's a good idea to add vsnm to the event. Can explain mechs and tell people what to take note of and once they know the newbies will figure out how to carry their weight really fast. Then they can slowly progress into hm after they figure NM out. This is nice
Let me tell you a little story: When Tera opened its doors in the West, it had this feature...if you have a rookie in your party, you'd get better loot(higher chance to drop rare items, that kind of stuff). There was no +15 at the time and not everyone even had +12(I didn't even go for the set you could masterwork, just a +9 basic thing). Guess what. People still used alts for the buff and nobody cared much to teach new players. Funny enough, that was also the time when lancers would flex their shields in the face of parties and demand zerks be kicked so they wouldn't share plate drops.
The main issue is, and always has been, you can't force people to help strangers. The only thing you can do is create a mentoring program that requires veterans to interact with their charges. I actually kept playing Forsaken World for a week after I knew I don't like it simply because my mentor was really nice and I didn't want her to be shafted if I quit before completing the course. That's how you get newbies into endgame, you get veterans to talk to them and grow fond of them.
I believe x2000-2500 noctenium infusions would be better.
Not too sure about x5 dragon scales as a reward since most skilled players in VSHM may already have both 1.5x and 2.0x crit dragons. it's good for skilled player's alts, and for the unskilled player, I suppose. Then again, one would get way more dragon scales much easily and quicker through queueing BGs. So there's that.
I would suggest smart dyads instead of dragon scales, but ABNM event probably gave most players a nice stash of smart dyads.
Will we ever get any of the common and hero/legendary noctenium refiners that EU got?
Or perhaps master additives for etchings?
2. Well dragon scales are the only reliable way to get strong bravery pots, but no one mentions that right??? and a majority of people don't have crit dragons now. Alot but not a majority
3. I actually would like that
4. nope, eu/ktera exclusive
5. nope
1. I figured that the x2000 nocts rewards would cover the ones spent in VSHM with a bit to spare, but you're right, it would break the noct economy.
2. Yeah, I took full advantage of the IoD event on alts to replenish my Strong Bravery stash. Maybe x6 dragon scales would be better for x2 strong bravery pots, or a bit more of an edge for those who need a 1.5 crit dragon. It should be reasonable, right?
3. Yus, I'd love me some smart dyads! I ran out, and didn't take advantage of the ABNM event. One can only hope!
4. Dang!
5. I figured
(I cleared normal mode multiple times) xD
mee too plisss
