A thought for the upcoming Strongbox Event

I realize that there is a separate forum for the current summer event going on and Enmasse is asking for ideas for said summer event, but figured I'd post this is a separate discussion thread because the Strongbox event is normally it's own event altogether.
Considering the strongbox event is going to be happening during the summer event, my thought would be (due to the shortage of keys, or the massive 300% increased price in keys on some servers) to have a BAM event sometime this weekend that drops strongbox keys. It may help with price adjustments on the broker, or would just help those players that are more interested in opening boxes for mats, but cannot afford keys or EMP to spend on them via the Tera store.

This is just a thought. ^_^ @Spacecats Hopefully you'll consider it! See you on Friday's stream :awesome:

    also we had events before that gave keys, and also we knew couple of days before, I got myself some when they were cheaper lol

    I have an even better idea! Why not have BAMs drop Deathwrack boxes, Tier 12 +15 enchantment scrolls, along with Fang/scales. It would really help the players who don't have time to grind up to Deathwrack or do Harrowhold!

    But since you started this, I really like to see Feedstock and Premium Alka be replaced with Volcanic Dragon Weapon skin box, at this point we don't really need those, and Volcanic weapon box is too rare and stupid to get from loot boxes :(

    Tier 8 and higher players on the emporium can buy a stack of 50 keys. Is what I do since I has nothing better to buy from the emporium.

    well, don't buy key once the event is announced or during event, buy them while they're cheap.

    Cute idea, but it would defeat the purpose of these events bringing in revenue for EME. Also you can get a daily key for each character at 65 by winning a CS match. (today is CS jackpot day................... so yanno, queue up)

    It's just a suggestion, i.e., instead of having something like.. a recipe for Rootstock (from the BAM event a few months prior), 1 key can replace that award. Very simple, suggestion, there isn't a need (nor a purpose) for rude comments. :+1:

    I never saw those in my emporium.

    Anyway, I am ready for the strongbox event and hope we can get more events like this year, but I am pretty sure those jackpots will be something i won't get.

    I have only 11 keys at the moment :(

    Well, I will continue with the beach costumes farm :)

    I have 450 keys just from buying in the emporium over the past few months as well. Will probably use half and sell the rest. That way if RNG screws me, I still make some gold.

    These are all the same prices as when the emporium originally launched -- when, at the time, it was still top-tier. And yes, this issue has been brought up a lot with EME; the whole thing needs a drastic update and rework.
