Inconsistency in World Boss respawn times

Some world bosses like Humedras and Maevia have very different respawn times compared to other world bosses, I was wondering if this is intentional.

The current humedras spawn time makes it virtually impossible to kill due to it only appearing once a week or longer. This leads to the following: Right after maintenance ends, Humedras is dead within a few minutes. Obviously this makes it impossible for normal players to have even a small chance to catch him.

Now I'm not saying we should spawn 15 of him on 10 channels every 47 seconds, but I would like to ask that their respawn times be decreased (perhaps once every 2-3 days) in order for it to at least be possible for players who are not spam clicking the play button near the end of maintenance to kill Humedras/Maevia.

I think this is a reasonable logical request, please correct me if I'm wrong.

    Tell me about it, been trying to hunt Humedras for a few weeks now and I haven't even laid my eyes on him...

    Its actually intentional. Plus the whole point is to group up so more ppl get the credit but this community is too selfish.

    Plus you should not complain. You have it way easier now since u just need 1 kill not 100 like eaerlier where most of us got the achievements done

    I killed maevia 3 times already for my priest archer and warr .
  • This week alone I killed 9 maevia on my alts since everyone else is busy with the summer event. 8 of my alts need humedras but im not in a rush since you just need 1 kill. Few weeks ago i killed 3 humedras on different characters right after the same maintenance.

    There was a time when i found humedras roaming 3 hours after server went up, create lfg and only 4 people interested in the achievement while the others simply want to help. I used to think that its impossible to kill humedras but its actually not that bad.

    server resets are pretty consistent, just log out at boss spawn and log back in as soon as maint is done - these force a reset of the bosses, and sometimes unintentional server crashes (also not rare with eme servers) respawn the bosses as well. they're meant to be tough to find, so just keep checking back on the spots.

    Mae is 12-36hours(usually within 12-24 hours) from last time killed.
    Humedras should be about the same.

    They feel so vastly different because they're one of the few that weren't changed when the achievements were changed.
    95% of all the other world bosses are a 1-3hour respawn timer now.(where before some would have 6-12 hours, some 12-24...Others yet 1-24hours..They all used to be a bit randomo. Mae, Humedras, 2 others iirc have their normal spawn timers.

    I have to agree with some people that said it was intentional- the world bosses that got their respawn time decreased was the ones that contributed to 'Rule Arun' and 'Rule Southern Shara' achievement. the other world bosses like Maevia, Linyphi, Betsael, and Yunaras Snaggletooth are not part of the achievement, and therefore did not get their respawn time adjusted.

    However adjustments BHS made are definitely inconsistent. they did adjust the Northern Arun world bosses, but as you may know, Humedras does not spawn and only appears after server reset, and even if it does spawn at times other than server reset (which i personally have never witnessed), the behavior has been so inconsistent that it's best to not bother hunting if you miss server reset times; i don't think this was intentional. other special ones include Hursaras which had its respawn time changed but Draelteryx did not get a change.

    Lanok and Divine Reaver are also exceptions- they have their own static respawn time and iirc are both unaffected by the adjustments.
