it's RGB sliders so it would be near impossible for it to not have the color you want. I think the point of what they were saying is that certain items take to dye better than others, which isn't a problem with the dye but a problem with those items.

price in 2015 was aroun 2.3 - 3 k when emp ratio was in 1:10 --1:13 , in this year elite vounchers are new acount services introduces and this allow already people get them from elite gif boxes.
now gold lose wroth and emp get to 1:35-1:45 and 3 k gold from 2015 emp ratio is now like aroun 15 k gold now,
this apotecary dyed is now near to 2.4 k gold and people cry because they cant change their custome color 500 times in arrow. ...............mee, im no sure who is the greedy player.........
Its because ppl could, for months, change costume color "500 times in a row".
And in a game where dressing up is end game content for many ppl it will make them upset if it suddenly got taken away.
People are not asking for cheaper, they ask for "dont suddenly make it expensive".
People who start playing in 2017 dont know your 2015 woes and certainly cant relate to it.
We know how its been in 2017 since january, not more.

I really liked the suggestion to add it in crafting. You can make the crafted all-color-dye 1day to 1 week limited (different tiers).
That would make things even better imo. Ppl can play around more with dyes and if they want to settle down they buy that 2k gold apo dye.

that's the thing right there, you guys don't know what we had back then and what was removed now. you only know 2017. keep that in mind when you guys rip on us when we talk about wanting this brought back or that. also, how do you think kami makes so much money in tera. im surprised he hasn't commented on this post yet lol. they are available in fed bills shop. they are available in the cash shop. its like anything else in this world, if you want it, you will pay for it. if its not worth that much to you to buy it at a certain price, then you don't buy it. I wish tera would bring back the dye shops and many other things they removed. you cant fault people for taking advantage of the market, and the price for dye isn't that bad. ive given my dyes away many time cause I don't dye stuff that much. I would use the temp dye or go to use the dye to see if any other colors suited me, and then not dye it. if eme is giving out free dyeable costumes like candy as someone said, then why not come off of some of those fed bill and buy some, or spend a few dollars in support of the game for dyes from the cash shop.
so no, people that only know 2017 and demanding stuff need to keep in mind that we didn't get the free stuff back in the early days of tera. if they had an event for getting a new hat, people would flood it so they could get something free. they even removed the free hat from leveling to level 60.
so the entitled mentality is not going to get any sympathy from the older players of the game.
1.- Apotecaryes dyes still be obtaniable in tera store for 95 emp, 1:40 emp ratio = 3.8 k gold .................. and if you buy all servers apotecaryes and they still are no enough for you, make a 2-3 news acounts, get buddy up, reach lv 65 x 1 k federation bills and get 30 apotecaryes "free", delete acounts and repeat until obtain 500 apotecaryes dyeds.
2.- of course, new people who only know 2017 always claims for free stuff because they still think is too hard obtain stuff in this game rite ?
3.- im dont notice im get poor for obtain the color im want , but this dont care me, if im want them , im get it , or wait for federation bill store balance ( and no is no bad get dyed from 50 federations bills, because people want get for 10 or less each dyeds)................
but anyway I already said that the dyes in the federation bill shop are not tradeable. There's not enough dyes on the market. I'm not gonna spend $$$$ trying to get dyeable costumes if I can't dye them whatever color I want to whenever I want to at a reasonable price. It's not about being "Greedy" or being "entitled", it's just something I asked to be addressed (something small, at that).
everyone feels the need to put in their two cents on something that doesn't concern them, like.. why? If you don't use the dyes then keep on not using them, this isn't about you

It's the Internet. You never know if someone is crazy or joking. There's all kind of people and wild animals out there that access this, we can't discern anymore.
You could say in a sense that it worked (brought attention to it), or that it backfired (made too much of a big deal making the real issue with less importance than intended).
While I don't agree with the dyes being removed from the elite boxes, this should be said;
You have a niche interest in repeatedly dyeing your costumes multiple times a day. You go through the dye resource like candy. As such, your niche interest is a costly one. Just like other niche interests. I don't see an issue with this.
You're kind of the outlier here.
This doesn't mean that I agree with prices or disagree with them. Any random picked human will like low price on what he uses. From one side it shouldn't be big because dyeable costumes are for dye. I think 100 fed bills for one dye in 20 days is a lot. But on the other there are plenty of one hour dye and if you use apothecary maximum once a week even 3k isn't that much. No need to pay real money even..
