Issue with event dungeon

Hey, this is my first day of participating in the Festival of the Sun event in TERA. I am in Squalid Temple, and I have to defeat a Massive Ghilliedhu, but the problem is, I already defeated it! :scream: I left the temple and re-entered hoping that would reset the temple, but it didn't. I should learn my lesson by now, this is the only game that I have played where monsters should respawn, but they don't. Any ideas on what I could do to complete this quest? Thanks in advance.

  • Okay, I think abandoning the quest might work, I didn't want to risk losing the event, but I guess that's the only way to fix it.

type /reset inside the dungeon to make the dungeon reset

That worked! Thank you! <3 Abandoning the quest wasn't enough.

You should get in the habit of /reset -ing solo instances as the teleport often doesn't.
  • Typing /reset is also faster than using the teleportal out. Never portal. Even if you arent entering again, /reset.

I don't recommend that. If you reset out, the game places you outside of the general area where the festival is. If you port out, then the game places you right in front of the portal, which makes you closer to where you need to turn-in.

That is, unless you're not concerned with time. In that case, reset 'til your heart's content.
  • It's not even that far from where the NPCs are. A little walking/running won't kill you.

Resetting is straight up faster since you

    A. Don't need to run to the teleportal in the dungeon and
    B. Don't need to wait for the lengthy teleport animation.

When someone tells you you are wrong, repeating the original wrong thing you said doesn't count as a counterargument.

The problem mentioned is fixed, reset or not reset, ppl like to discuss lol, this doesn't matter
