More diversity for events please

That might be you, I leveled up more than 50 Chars, I gave away more than 15K FS for each tier 1-4 to new players (more than 60K total) more than 10K low tier Alka, I never sold low tier mats, gave away a lot of crystals, before these crystal boxes era, I give away my low tier inners to new players, I never sell them, I give away accessories I make from events that I don't need or want or have spares for free to new players. I teach and answer new players questions all the time and I don't care if it is stupid or not, I add newbies as friends so if they need help I can offer. Am I the only one like that? No, those that make alts are mostly like that.

Also, since the introduction of vanguard quests at level 13, doing story quests to level up was irrelevant, that is a smart thing to do, not community's fault BHS did this.

So, in the end the elitist professional level 65 players might be the one asking for no leveling event for new players.

In the end you all miss a point:

The newbie will manage, they always do, if hes eager for the game he will search for guides / ask for advice and become better and learn dungeons...

Now the issue is that almost all of the 65 players / elitest as some call it are just genuine a-holes, who cant even respond to someone asking an actual question in global chat, but diss them and call them names at every chance they get.

If the game is becoming empty its not because of content its more cause the high level dont do anything to keep the new players in game so they come, see the rotten community and leave.

I actually quite enjoy these little events, especially since I'm not a big player on high-tier dungeons. I recently moved servers and I find that this leveling event would help me a lot on getting my new main character to LV 65... as well as my entire popori army. I always like to see events where everyone is included, despite the common idea of players abusing it for personal-gain. The TERA is a community filled with so many kinds of players, and a lot of the time we miss out on seeing the bigger picture that is us... simply because we don't go out of our comfort zone. Even if it doesn't feel okay to us, we still have to consider the quiet part of our community... they're as much as TERA players as we are, and they shouldn't feel left out in topics like these.

Normally I don't post in threads like this. But god NO more leveling events. I truly wish they would go back to the dark ages of tera nearly 2 years ago when you had to do your quests and dungeons stuff. Not this fats track nonsense. Yes it is great to have more people at end game BUT what I run into daily are people who are running support roles.

I have had 4 runs so far this morning where healers did not cleanse in BRN, healers did not heal, healers repeatedly died. They locke don to heal only to cancel and stand to the side and do nothing.
And after the boss was dead they threw a tantrum that they just started playing and hit 65 within 2 days.
I was on my 431 Lancer (not that it matters) but not getting heals outside of hp potions and my own survival skills was just ridiculous.

Adding xp events only makes the end game even more stressful with people like this who don't care to learn their classes.
AND if you suggest anyone try practicing on lower i.l. dungeons they go into an uproar and call you can elitist cause they don't know their class. They don't bother to read guides or ask for help. But I'd hope after you hit 65 you would know how to heal party members.

And if you are aiming this for veteran players like myself who have been here for over 4 years or other who at least have 1-2 years under their belts.

I am pretty sure they would rather have newer players take a little more time and effort to learn what they are doing as they level vs boom insta 65 in under 24hrs and being a headache between drama conversations in chat or not doing the role they decided to play.

Please..NO just NO.

Any event that doesn't give away xp and is fun for all is a whole other thing though. I would support things for the community to act like a community.

But as you know CH is roughly 40-60 people tops daily between cities and majority are afk to sell stuff. And well what's left of the community after these long and eventful 4+ years are some decent people, trolls and creepers. But becoming more towards majority of the last 2.
An event for our servers would be nice maybe some mount races or more find gm in whatever location.

ANYWAY back to the topic. I respect your outlook on this ....but please no more xp events, it is waaaay too easy to hit 65 as is with the training wheels vanguard system.

I feel the same way on these returning events. Even though I have done all the achievements, it is still something to do when I am bored or want to get outfits for my new alts.

Some new events in certain areas would be fun too, whether it be irl based holidays or just silly things based off vanguard races and their background lore.

These leveling event are asked and refused by "elitist" and at the same time. Well, it is nice to have someone like you around to help leveling them and I thank thee for that. But in the end, we can't stop those "elitist" to abuse this kind of event for their personal gain, can we? Everything has its pros and cons after all.

Congrats for leveling 50+ characters with/without event though. You have my

Who on earth expects a reasonable answer from global and how many elite players do you know who sift through all the randomness in it, looking for questions?! The way you get help from an elite player is not by asking in a massively public chat where your question would, at best, get lost in all the spam and, at worst, attract every bored troll on the server. You locate the current social hubs on your server, go there and latch onto anyone who looks like they might be a pro. You'll not only get answers to questions but might also make a friend who'll help you climb the social ladder. *sigh* The basic principles of socialising have been lost....

Jesus christ, what's the big deal over a leveling event? Leveling in Tera is already incredibly easy, so there's going to be a lot of people that're bad at the end-game. Everybody's bad at the beginning, the point is to help all the new people out. When there's a nice leveling event, people make alts and que low level DGs. New people then can get quick pops and get to end-game faster, and stick with the game. It sounds like a win-win, no reason to complain.

PS: EME already heard the community, they are planning it. You people like to turn things around in each thread, cause why not, you are the very people that are toxic towards new players, towards casual players, it shows here, it shows on game.
