Wow, the amount of salt in this post is amazing.
First, while Slayer was an above average dps for a brief period of time it was only at the level of "new class" broken when you managed to get good ICB RNG. Moreover, since there was no real method of measuring your dps at the time aside from seeing how much you took aggro no one really knows how much better they were from other dps classes.
Second, if you were getting killed by ICB into a backstab combo then you were a pretty bad player. Slayer's backstab is super predictable and has only ever rooted, meaning that it has been and still is super easy to counter. While Slayers were extremely good in pvp at the time it was solely due to the high base damage on their core skills which quickly ended up being nerfed to the ground.
TLDR: OP has PTSD from when he used to be a bad player and therefore hates Slayers.

Continue to play Misery priest and Imperator lancer for VSH and multiple alts for 355/417 guild quests.
