I didn't say free ambush box, I said distribution, Drop from somewhere. For a new player, if they go for Ambush when we are gonna get next gear not long from now is not a good idea. is it?

Ambush +12 is equal or slight better than misery +12 and it's not even a "handout".
Imho, they should change the scroll or just put an ambush box as a reward.

scroll is more reliable since you dont spend any feedtock and alkaes to get them, and like im realy say this, now is easy to new player craft ambush since mats already are more comonds like imperator was in spellbound pacht, and least is better for healers or tanks form be more cheap now vs misery +12.

My dude, we are talking about new players, I don't care about the rewards, all I wanted from this event, was double XP and fast que for dungeons and it is happening. For new people they put extra feedstock, extra fashion coupon. You don't expect new players go for VM right away when got to 65, do you? I mean I am in this game for years and I never bothered with VM weapon and now the idea of a scroll that only works on vm8 which is absolute at this point, because that would be waste of time and mats to craft it for new players to follow a path to craft Ambush.

Lets see for a minute, they need to get Guile, full set which is easy, then They gotta do Mid tier gear, if they spend mats on Misery and get Misery weapon then it is stupid to go for Ambush, you should go for DW, if they try to stay in Guile weapon and run dungeons, they will have hard time to find parties and their run gets long. So, no point at all to go for ambush.

You talk mats, 1st they have to buy design or get it from dungeons, 1st step, 2nd they are new to the game, it gets confusing, then they need to farm mats needed over and over again, remember they are new, pushing them to farm for VM mats can be overwhelming if they are not used to Tera and can set off the game, when Got a lotta Caprin hands and runs and after runs, they gotta craft the Ambush, if they get Misery and put all that work towards DW, is not better? During the process of crafting VM mats, if you want to happen faster, you gotta spend gold and use lots Cure crafter, and then even after +12 Ambush, you gotta awaken, cause if you don't do it, it is not better than Misery, it needs to be +15, it needs etching and 2-3% to work well for you, so they need BES,a lotta Spellbind, a lotta MWA, A lott Feedstock still.

So, no that is useless for new players, we are not talking about ourselves, I am leveling 3 alts to complete my new organized CH character collection, everything is ready for my 3 chars before getting to 65, many others are ready, we don't care much about Zephyr or +12 Scroll, we have mats, golds, items, tokens ready for them, we are discussing it for new players, because I see a lot of them coming to the game or encouraged to give Tera another chance, we should keep them around.

@LesbianVi I agree with you that +12 scroll is pretty much useless for new players, maybe even for most of seasoned ones. I am not sure, what are they thinking. +12 scroll for VM8? Even when new gear and enchanting system will come in few months? To work it with Misery would be MUCH more better for new players

yea, for this reason is better gave ambush boxes for al newbies , because is no like they dismantes guille +10 to gear misery +4 and queque brhm rite ? ............ mee , if they get Misery and put all that work towards DW, is not better? , yea, change scroll +12 to shop with dreathward smart boxes because they need rite ?

5 or 6 months , yea because is no like ambush +12 and misery +12 are mid tier +0 rite ?, and if you have this time ( 5 or 6 months ) is bad idea get dreathward +15 because is more easy to get mid tier +6 in new system , well forget misery, im still in guille +12 because in new system is more easy get to mid tier +0 vs enchant misery +12 rite now( im spend like x5 more mats to get mid tier +0 rute now) . yea, guille +12 is better for new system a few months for new players...........

@StevenAnthony we are not talking giving players Ambush or DW, we are saying, we don't have to make them go for Awakening their gear, heck I have been in Tera since 2012, never bothered with awakening, so that +12 scroll is useless, get that in your cloud brain, we asking replace it with something else, Feedstock, Spellbind, MWA, something that helps them with Misery, even a costume, something to encourage them to stay around, cause I promise you when they finish the story quest for free flying mount, Zephyr won't look appealing to them anymore as +12 scroll.

No one, saying this is a bad event, heck this is a refreshing event in the last 6 months, I am enjoying it, many others too, ques pop for dungeons very fast, Gems are good, Halrath parcels are good, Double XP are good, people teaming up to level up, new and old, returning players, are all good.

But at the end when they got to 65, those two items have no real value to new players, returning players, that is what I am saying. You can't white knight against meh, I am the white knightest of them all.

if they only work for Ambush they are useless for us new/returning players tbh
we cant even get Ambush mats from doing BGs anymore and only like 2 hardmode dungeons drop ambush mats and if we could do HM dungeons we wouldnt need the scrolls anyways.
i dont know what they were thinking or if they were even thinking at all.

new players dont know what is wroth in this game, but yes, is better eme replace to +12 misery scroll for people who know what is value in the game get +12 misery without spend any cheap and flood mats they already have in their banks.

Sooooo, I really think the news page needs to be updated to say that the +12 scroll is only for ambush gear. I spent two days leveling a brawler I'm never going to use (tank = insta-queue) to get a +12 scroll for my priest which I plan to make my secondary character. I didn't really want to spend the money to +12 mis on a priest that was my secondary because guile is just fine. I'm certainly not taking the time to craft ambush on a secondary character when I'm crafting deathwrack on my main... But, meh. It just seems like it was kinda misleading not being upfront about it only being for ambush. I would really recommend updating the page to prevent further confusion.
