    Misunderstood the context of the topic.
    (I thought it was about Icegrip/Icetouch Weapon Skins)

    My guess is that since the only differences between the Arctic and Glacial armors is that the former is slightly shinier and glows in some areas, the weapon skins would look too similar.

    Or, like someone else said, they're staggering the release dates like with the Volcanic set.
