But at the end when they got to 65, those two items have no real value to new players, returning players, that is what I am saying.

Does anything on that list have any real value to anyone? Besides the fragments, those are OK.

Not because it has no value for you doesn't mean it has no value for others.

""""Explain to me the value of a cape that's 1k EMP""" and even before the event was going for ~6k(if going at all). Or the value of a brooch I haven't even seen in a very long time but is basically a lvl 65 non-tradeable Flawless Brooch(tera database even says its base line is aggro but I'm assuming that's a mistake) Just received confirmation: You do get aggro base line brooch. Such value, much wow. The values of the scroll and the mount have already been discussed and deemed "not really there" by more people than just me. Which leaves the reset scrolls. Is that where the true value of the event lies?

Ok, now that you show that you even cant understand value as it is and you yourselft pointed the value on some of those things.

A cape that values 1k EMP and you yourself are being countered by your own argument, a brooch for reaching lvl 65 that you wont get until you run a lvl 65 dungeon, a mount that is better than the free one you get from lvl 65 quest and the +12 scroll for VM8 gear.

Now again if those things doesnt have value for you that doesnt mean that doesnt have value at all or for others.

Now read your own post so you can see how did you know already that those have value.

Do you see where that sentence ends? I guess not, so, here you go: https://www.thepunctuationguide.com/period.html """"The cape is priced at 1k EMP in the store. It's gold value was 6k before the event started(down to 3-4k at this point)"""". That's a 1:6 emp rate for the cape while the general EMP rate is1:30-40. Any person with 2 brain cells to rub together would be able to understand what that means about the actual value of the item.

I'm not even sure you'd get that brooch by running a lvl 65 dungeon in the first place. I think that brooch came from a long removed level 65 quests and it's an aggro brooch. Once again, 2 brain cells should be enough to understand why that brooch has no actual value.

I'm sure people who don't have a single flying mount besides the free one and are so desperate to get their hands on an aggro brooch with no buff can really use a +12 scroll for VM8 gear. Obviously, you get VM8 before you get a simple brooch. 2 brain cells.

Considering the amount of people who've so far said the mount is no good in their opion, I'mma go ahead and say "not just me". This one requires 1 brain cell to spot.

Unlike you, I read my posts after I write them. Those things still have no value. Unless, of course, you think the piece of gum under your chair has value because somebody paid 5 cents for it 1 month ago.

Then again your whole argument contradits you all about your "Those things still have no value".

You lost against your own contradictions and now resort to insult, as always you have being doing in these forums.

You already put values on those things and you can't even understand what you are writing then thats your own problem.

Saying "this thing has no value because there is no value in it and here's why" does not contradict "this thing has no value". You, on the other hand, have yet to provide a single argument as to why those things have any real value.

Because you already pointed the values of them so there is no need, now go again at your own posts and read them again so you can understand your own contradictions.

That's not a contradiction. When an item's supposed value is 10 times higher than the item's actual value, that means nobody wants that item. When nobody wants an item, it has no real value. If the demand cannot even sustain the market for an item, you can list it for as much as you like. No buyers = no value.

But i have a proposal on how we can solve this. I will level chars to 65 on your server and sell you the capes at 10% under the EMP value. If you are right and I'm contradicting myself by saying an item worth 1k EMP has no value, you'll be able to make a good profit while I'd have wasted my time. If I am right and the EMP value combined with broker prices proves the item actually has no value, I'll make a profit and you'll lose gold. I'll sell every single cape to you(which, btw, will be a lot of capes) and we'll see who comes out on top at the end. Deal?

You already put values on those things and you can't even understand what you are writing then thats your own problem.

Saying "this thing has no value because there is no value in it and here's why" does not contradict "this thing has no value". You, on the other hand, have yet to provide a single argument as to why those things have any real value.

Because you already pointed the values of them so there is no need, now go again at your own posts and read them again so you can understand your own contradictions.

I pointed out their non-existent value. Just because you can't tell where a sentence ends and read the whole thing, doesn't mean I'm contradicting myself. But, hey, you go sell your cape for 40k. I'll wait. heck, I'll give you a few of mine to sell as well.

This is the last time I will quote you as its clear you dont even read what you wrote in your previous post and dont even think before posting.
""""Explain to me the value of a cape that's 1k EMP""" and even before the event was going for ~6k(if going at all)
""""The cape is priced at 1k EMP in the store. It's gold value was 6k before the event started(down to 3-4k at this point)""""

Now before you continue trolling in this thread at least make your post without contradicting your self.

Deal?

You already are wrong when you said a 1k EMP accesory dont have a value.

I dont have need to deal with trolls in-game, keep contradicting your self in the forums this way is more amuzing.

And I will repeat, if you cant even realize your own contradiction is not my problem.
Does anything on that list have any real value to anyone? Besides the fragments, those are OK.

    IFY2eVB.png

Yes, it does and this prove it.
""""Explain to me the value of a cape that's 1k EMP""" and even before the event was going for ~6k(if going at all)

I dont need to deal with you in-game when you alone brought to us the answers.

So, that's a no on the deal then. At least we now know you don't put your gold where your mouth is. What if I offered to sell you 100 capes for 5k each? Would you take that deal?

""""Explain to me the value of a cape that's 1k EMP""" and even before the event was going for ~6k(if going at all).

So, still not willing to put your gold where you mouth is, even at 5k. Nice point you are making there. Also, count how many capes sold versus how many capes are listed. Then tell me the value of an item that you barely have a chance of selling. Even you realise that, if you thought capes had value, you'd take me up on that deal and get some free gold out of it while also proving me wrong. But you don't want to because even you know you'll lose massive amounts of gold if you were to invest in so many capes. Yet, you still think you can sit on your little soap box and pretend you are right.

Yes, it does and this prove it.
""""Explain to me the value of a cape that's 1k EMP""" and even before the event was going for ~6k(if going at all)
""""The cape is priced at 1k EMP in the store. It's gold value was 6k before the event started(down to 3-4k at this point)""""

I dont need to deal with you in-game when you alone brought to us the answers.

So, that's a no on the deal then. At least we now know you don't put your gold where your mouth is.

No, I simply wont comply to the whines of a troll becuase in this thread i am not contradicting my point.

But at the end when they got to 65, those two items have no real value to new players, returning players, that is what I am saying.

Does anything on that list have any real value to anyone? Besides the fragments, those are OK.

Not because it has no value for you doesn't mean it has no value for others.

And already that picture from broker makes my whole point valid, something diferent as your that is only an assumption.

And even you need to resort to insults and personal attacks as you do in other threads with those who don't share your way of thinking.

The picture of the broker is exactly what makes your point completely wrong, darling. That's ONE cape in recent history. ONE. That means, one single person bought a cape in the last, what is it? at least a month? So, I'll ask you again. What's the value of an item that nobody buys?

No child, you are wrong, I keep quoting you and you dont even acknowlegde how you are trying to derail from the real post so again you have here what you wrote.
Does anything on that list have any real value to anyone? Besides the fragments, those are OK.

    Then my comment about that.
Not because it has no value for you doesn't mean it has no value for others.

    Then the proof.

Try to read again all your posts to see how you derail from the real thing and then tried to make insults and even tried to convince me to fall for your whines.

No child, I dont need to deal with trolls in-game, you are good here in forums I dont need to deal with your toxicity in-game.

Still don't believe in your own point, huh. Let me know when you start thinking you might be right. We can talk again later, grandma o/

Well, I saw a lot of Brawlers, would confuse the boss tho, which one to attack and he get confusing debuff. lol
  • This event actually almost got me excited to play this game again, only to read about the +12 scroll that is useless at this point of the game. I am a new player who just recently stopped because it gets really frustrating how the game has no real way for us newbies to farm and catch up to old players when you hit level cap. Sure Ambush mats drops in HM dungeons, but how do we exactly get them or get into parties when the parties themselves don't take players with only Guile (going for Misery +12 isn't exactly easy for newbies as well). I agree with some of the players here, most of the rewards have no real value as they don't really appeal to me as I am a new player myself. If the scroll worked on Misery it would've been a different case.

TERA badly needs ways to keep players around, especially the new ones.
  • Reward me achievement points instead plz

Sorry but you misunderstood this thread, we are not saying EME should give you hands out so you stay around, we are saying since there is an event going on and actually is interesting and a good one, it would be better to replace that with something useful.

You are saying you are new, then you saying you are returning the game!!! also your saying there is no way to farm stuff, that is not a newbie thing, that goes to your lack of enthusiasm and being lazy, don't mix things, this game is easy, NA Tera is easier than other regions, it is not p2w and not a grind fest like some other MMO. So, the problem that you can't farm stuff goes back to you, not the game.
