Valid points, but Lancer has almost no bad match ups thanks to block and leash putting a stop to any form of neutral/passive play. Great self sustain, defensive options, offensive damage, and catching tools makes Lancer Top Tier.
I agree that Gunner has a great match up against most melee classes and recall is perhaps the most broken skill in the game. Placement of them could use adjustment.
Short summary of Warrior and Valk placement:
Warriors are great at 1v1s, but they too have their bad match ups. Valks on the other hand have no match up that puts them at a significant disadvantage.
And both classes lose pressure with the latest patch doubling back stab cooldown and losing the ability to spam it until it works.
Valks actually manage certain match ups better than warriors. For example, Archers are a bit more difficult to deal with as a warrior than a Valk. Warriors have no reliable tools to force an archer off their trap unless they want to use Smoke Aggressor which is a 50 seconds CD skill (Not sure if you want to classify that as a BM skill)
Valks on the other hand can simply iframe over a trap to disarm it. Archers in general have no means to reset to neutral game with the placement of a trap if needed vs a valk.
In addition to disarming traps, Valks have more ranged options and displacement tools to force opponents into bad positions. Warriors have Binding Sword and if you're tossing it out the same way a valk tosses out their sucky sucky, you're doing it wrong and not going to catch anyone decent.
So no, they do not have the same bad match ups as Valks have more means to deal with ranged classes as opposed to Warriors.
hey stop using ur brain
