Unfortunately its not new and EME sent no feedback to NA players about this. The GMs know, there are a lot of videos and thread about this in forum/youtube/reddit. Even Spacecats got killed by Memeslash in last live. Dunno why we dont see anything being done. Hackers laugh of the lack of suport and punishment of this game.
Its killing TERA slowly. TERA its not well populatated and this things makes more ppl get out the game. Hope a solution and punishment for all 'players" that used it.
Are you saying someone hacked his computer and stole it? Likely what happened was he shared it and was naive enough to trust others. Not the same as stealing... Don't excuse him. Also if he did write it, then we can all thank him for this mess now. Despicable
are you also going to blame einstein for hiroshima and nagasaki considering his role in the making of the atomic bomb?
blame the thief and the abusers, not the creator.
also,
you can blame eme for their incompetence in not being able to fix an easily fixable exploit like this. it's not our fault when eme decides to completely ignore our attempts at communicating to work with them and fix their mistakes.
(Hi Bern?)
Your argument is beyond stupid and not even comparable... First of all, Bern is not Einstein, not even close. (Does this even need to be said?) The purpose of the bombs was to end a war ASAP and minimize death and destruction compared to ongoing fighting. (Talking about real lives and war here, not a video game) The Manhattan scientist didn't know what they were working on, but were guilt ridden and remorseful when they found out.
Unlike Bern, who feels no guilt, no remorse, no responsibility, and has contributed nothing positive to this game (Name one, anything). He deserves no praise. I blame the leaker AND the creator. Shifting the blame to EME and dodging responsibility is childish and wrong. Drop the ego, own up, and be an adult.
It's not your responsibility and memeslashing wasn't a problem before. I'm seriously starting to be concerned about your mentality. A normal healthy person doesn't think the world revolves around them and owes them something.
(kek sounds like Bern is more like Hitler, if you want to keep going down fantasy road).
(hello)
it's not an argument more as an analogy. you shouldn't blame the creator of something just because someone else used it for evil.
im pretty sure the purpose of bombs are to kill people
im at least 60% sure that the manhatten scientists knew they were creating a bomb
then how do you explain him sending the fix to eme when the exploit was first leaked. what do you call his various advanced theorycrafting guides? who wrote the first fps optimization guide? he did a helluva lot for the community before he turned to developing scripts.
the irony in this is that we've all taken responsibility for our actions. we created the fix for the memeslash exploit but eme won't implement it. we do not support any exploit discussion in our discord server, and we don't help those looking to exploit.
eme on the other hand is the one acting like a child.
from the start of the fiasco, eme has straight lied to everyone's faces, refused our help, and villianized everything related to proxy when they knew nothing about it.
then, when the major exploits were leaked to the public, eme refused our help in taking care of the exploits and has done nothing else to combat it.
eme is the one with the ego. they'd rather their game die then admit that mere players know the game better than them.
ok, but when eme isnt willing to take the time to fix their game, are we just going to sit there and take it? because i'd rather fix the game myself than play the game as it is now. we took responsibility to fix the game when eme wouldn't. my mentality is fine. i just don't want to play a game that sucks vanilla when i can improve it myself.
eme most definitely owes us for the years they've made mistakes and mistreated their playerbase.
sick Godwin's Law dude
I'm not going to defend EME, they've made mistakes, they also don't owe you anything. I'm not going to excuse your idol. You seem to be a fanboy and don't want to admit he can do anything wrong. He's lurks discords for attention and justifies illegal greedy actions by blaming others. He's not helping anyone but himself. You both seriously need to do something else with your time.
1. Made the first FPS INI guide that probably half the players in the game uses.
2. Pioneered theorycrafting. Top end class guides are basically all Bern's stuff or had his input.
3. Involved in every non-official major Tera communities in admin or adviser positions (Discord, reddit, EssentialMana).
Honestly, all of us veteran players had benefited from some/all of his works. Apart from Loriri I actually argue Bern has the most community presence of players who still interact with the community.
Everyone I don't like is Hitler.
ok sorry for replying to your post and breaking it down. i'll try not to do that next time
oh he's done plenty wrong. he sells scripts he makes for real money ($100+!!). he's coded exploits for fun (nobody can admit that figuring out how [filtered] works and playing with it isn't fun.)
but he's also done a lot of good stuff for our community.
hes active in discords as a moderator, developer, and helper to (almost) everyone who has a question for him. he was also the one who coded the fix for the exploit in the first place. not once has he blamed others without a valid reason.
he's helped all of the serious end-game pve community as well as everyone involved in anything related to the proxy and scripting in general.
you're right. maybe i should shlt post on the internet about topics i know nothing about. wanna help me out?
